2cf & 4" port too big for 10"?
Is that 2cuft externally? If so, a 10" is the biggest driver you can run ported.

Only worse considering Diesels could solve MANY of our woes. WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY more efficient than the stupid fucking hybrids yet what is winning in the sales race here? Stupid fucking Americans.

Oh, young grasshopper you are confused. The noise on Euro diesels is not any different than the gas. In fact some gas engines are louder and crappier sounding. As for power delivery I am astonished you'd bring that up as a weakness being it is the strength of a diesel. Torque >>> HP always.

Need help making sure of right decision.
You better have an extremely effective SSF if you are going to use a 32Hz tune and watch movies. Normally for a theater box you tune closer to 12Hz than 30. There will be a ton of effects in movies that are WAY below your tuning.

Exactly how I feel about Ford & Chevy.

As stated, we need to fix education first and with that the stupidity associated with that statement. I don't disagree as it is how it is right now, but that needs to be taken up a notcyh.

Exactly. And of course all high tech assembly should stay here as well.

Production is a commodity that you never want to compete in since it is all based on cost. Price war devalues what you are doing and the best way around that as a society is to get a step above it.

Not sure on the made in America thing. Instead perhaps we should focus on education and have everything be designed in America, let the cheaper area's build it. We have to stay on top somehow and it won't be through production.

DC's Sound Smackdown -Evansville, IN -2X "SQL" & SPL
I just copied it from the MECA website. I know that the owner has a a competion van that has 4 of the crossfire xs/spl 15's. its kinda stupid loud. I just hope there with be some cool stuff there. Wasn't implying that towards you, just the whole mechanism is a wee bit off. The more people you attract doing whatever is necessary is a good thing.

Not so sure you could call his budget balanced considering the mortgage fandango he put in place. Regrettably he was still better than bush deux and barack osama

DC's Sound Smackdown -Evansville, IN -2X "SQL" & SPL
Most events are a joke any ways. What I love is when someone can have a basic stereo and they have no competition, and they become state champs and think there amazing. Not everywhere, but certainly see it here and there heh. In particular in Missouri

Compete in SQL? Is the goal to just hand out more trophies or what?

They've never gotten anything right before, why would they now. Where's Ross Perot when you need him? Amusingly I had a dream last night than I ran. Sort on the Jessie Ventura stance. Vote for me, I won't be bought, don't care about a second term, but am sick of all the idiotic BS that is happening and will attack it up front.

Rims for a 05 black civic?
19's take the cake for expensive tires. The $6k was from book value and more than you'd get at auction. Putting nearly 20% of the value of the car into something that will just "set the car off" I don't understand. Never anywhere did I say putting rims on the car would ruin it, it can surely help it look and handle better but only if they are chosen appropriately. What I said was that the priority of doing so seems completely out of whack on that car. I know for sure that I don't have $1000 to throw away on something that makes my car look a little better and would never do it on that car. Hell the rims on my ML63 are ugly, but I am not even replacing those. Something about putting money into a hole and never getting it back disturbs me. And no, your car isn't worth an extra dollar with aftermarket wheels and regularly it is worth less as people are turned off by what else you could have done.

Welcome to the IHoP
But why o why are the Republicans so fucking confused. We just managed to have the last two terms at President to be the worst 2 presidents in our history and we get the fucking Nazi Palin or Bachmann to run against dufus the dumbass? If they picked someone who was economically conservative but a tad socially liberal making them centric we could get the damn country out of the recession and convert a bunch of bleeding hearts into believers in less government spending and more government efficiency. Drives me nuts!

Couldn't disagree more. If you go up a size or two it'll look like rubberbands on rice. Spending $1000 on wheels and tires on a $6000 car means your priorities aren't in the right place IMO either. Drive the dang thing, if you don't like it sell it and get something else.

To Quote Jeremy Clarkson, "Stupid flappy-paddle gearbox." I haven't had a chance to try a good one, but it just seems like it wouldn't be the same as a standard manual. I understand the performance benefits, but at a certain point I feel like all the assistance would take away from the experience I've got "paddles" (push buttons on the wheel) and while it shifts NOW when you press them the excitement isn't there and realistically it is faster as expected if you just let the computer do its thing. Only real use for them is if you want to hold a gear, but then in the ML you don't even need to go to full manual mode but just choose the top gear you want it to run up to in Automatic.

Looking for a new setup. Ideas?
Never said he wasn't nice face to face, but as a business person he is shady. As for handling it, its a frigging sub it doesn't take rocket science to figure out what it will sound like in particular when you understand what parameters were cheapened to reach that price point. But you know as well as I do that not everyone in car audio is looking for a well designed woofer that has a flat response. We both know they're looking for something cheap and that will get loud. It's what the majority of the market is out there for. Why on earth do you think AQ is still flurishing! I never said anything about a flat response, I know darn well that most people aren't looking for what I am and answer appropriately. Even for the fart response crew I wouldn't be interested in the Skar.
