  2. Never said he wasn't nice face to face, but as a business person he is shady. As for handling it, its a frigging sub it doesn't take rocket science to figure out what it will sound like in particular when you understand what parameters were cheapened to reach that price point.
  3. Kevin seems like a nice guy lol. Lol, is right. Products are shady, owner is even shadier.

are you still in tech school, or at a duty station ?? me too ... stoping at a store for a BC on the way to the office ... BC? BC Powder I'm guessing? BC stands for Butt Cake?

Wacky? Not at all if the purpose of the sub fits the design and I'd expect it to in a 6th. Just curious to see how it would compare to a traditional ported enclosure and EQ'd. I shouldn't have said wacky, surprised to see it is all. In any box you give up bandwidth for peak output. A 6th order is pretty much the defacto standard to describe a limited bandwidth output enclosure and guess what that means? Yep, it peaks. You shouldn't be surprised Of course, we see all these idiots who want a "ground pounder" and are promoting 4th order BP, but they are doing that blindly without any knowledge of why otherwise they'd choose a different alignment.

  10. The Anarchy's are still for sale. http://www.diycable.com/main/default.php?cPath=24 Thought that response you quoted was old and he had changed his mind. Could be really wrong there though. CSS has something "similar" as well. http://www.creativesound.ca/details.php?model=SDX7 And GR http://www.gr-research.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=112
  11. Look like awd/rwd wheels to me. Is it "worth" putting rims on a Civic??
  12. Nut rider indeed, the JL is an order of magnitude better driver. In comparison the Skar is a joke.

  14. Nearly any non-fart box driver in a nice box can do what the IDQ can and many much better. Of course it really depends on what you mean by SQ as it isn't normally a term we use on the board to describe anything since it is normally subjective and misapplied. Considering you seem to be fascinated with false potential output on the front stage my guess is that the classic definition doesn't fit for you, but if it does then sweet. And by sweet I mean lets focus on the front stage and nearly ignore the sub as that part is UBER easy to get right

Can make your own "Dale's" Ingredients:Soy Sauce, Onion, Garlic, Sugar, MSG, ginger, paprika. Understand why you think its yummy. Umami is hard to not like. If you want to take it up a notch, I'd recommend some mushroom soy, some chili oil (or a dash of sesame and some cayenne) as well.

What about one of those reuseable grocery bags? The canvas ones. I've seen different sized ones. Cheap option I have some "beach" bags with a built in cooler in the bottom that are similar. Need the zipper or closure as there is nothing worse than stepping out of a boat and watching your wallet/phone fall from your bag into the lake. My Dad wears a waterpack type backpack and carries the same basic things as you. Camera, wallet, keys, and phone. Its smaller than a normal backpack so if size is a concern it might be convienent. It's a little dorky, but worth mentioning. He's got a fairly large camera (slr) too so I'm pretty sure your camera would fit unless you've got some paparazzi type shit I have a nice SLR bag as well that works if I carry that, but something more purse like.

Too big, don't want something huge as I have a small place to put it. I don't plan on carrying except for extremely short jaunts into town from the boat when I have no pockets.
  24. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Small as possible with a shoulder strap is necessary.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good looking man bag? And no, I am not the type that will actually carry one but considering I am now in the boat 3+ days a week and I am almost always wearing something without pockets I'd like something to hold: Droid, wallet, boat keys, flashlight, point & shoot camera and not have to gather everything separate and carry a shit pile when we hop into town for ice cream, sushi, dinner, etc.
