Welcome to the IHoP
Luke, I think I suck at the web. I cannot find any talls on O'neill's site. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if there were a LT...

In this thread: I really wanted to reply: 150 on music is fine, but since you only listen to rap the goal is impossible. You'll have to change your listening preferences to listen to actual music if you want 150's on music.

Usually "keep up" is all relative to your expectations of mid-bass. In that case they don't stand a chance with a low cross point, but that is easily cured with a twist of the crossover knob. Obviously at some level then it becomes any frequency but the real difficult thing to reproduce is lower freq's.

And I'll add one of my least favorite ways to eat wings is in "buffalo" sauce. So many other flavors that are worth playing with and wings are such a good platform. One other thing, don't assume that just because they are smoked doesn't mean you can't fry them. Personally I just crisp up the skin on the grill, but an oil bath works too.

Prime rib is my next venture. So any tips you have are welcome. I love to eat prime rib and home made bread all soaked up in the drippings. Humidity is so high I may forego the egg and do it on the rotis.

Don't exceed 225 and let it go until the meat is 185 and you will be golden. The rest will just make it better. Start with cold meat and make sure the smoke is rolling when you put it on My plan is to keep it right around 200 with some heavy smoke. I will rub it the day before and keep it in the frig. I was told 1-1.5 hrs per pound so if I put it on at 10pm it should be ready for supper the next day. Also with this Mavrick unit I have I can watch the grate and internal meat temps. I smoked a 10 pound bag of wings with hot wing rub and they went quick. I was suprised how good they were! Smoked wings? BLAH!!!! J You wouldn't say that if you ate mine.

LOL. My snowboard is a 178 K2 Freeride circa 1988. Big bombing fast board, but with lip so you can do more than slalom.

I think you've got the right idea. No reason spending tons of money on a rope if you're not going to be doing it a lot. Most people use a wakeboard or ski rope so that will easily be a step up from that. By not a lot I meant I'll be dropping the rope very shortly

Funny, am shopping for one in another browser in parallel On my old lake I'd just wear my wetsuit, but that isn't legal and on Tonka they'll probably do something. Floats enough to have someone save my life if necessary, but not coast guard approved. Frustrated with all I've tried on as they aren't long enough when they fit my chest. Even the XL? Hmmmmm I wanna say that I've seen some XL longs before which are just longer for taller people. O'neil has a sizing chart on their website and the XLT is meant for people up to 6'5". If there's a dealer in your area you could try one on and see how the fit is. I've got an Assault and like it. I am not XL, only tall. 43" chest... Thanks for digging though, I hadn't been able to find a tall yet. Off to oneils site

I ride 13/13 when I snowboard too, but I'm a park guy. I think I ride the same for wakeboard, but haven't messed with my stance in forever. I would start with 15/15 if that's what you're already comfortable. There's really no set way to determine asfaik. I'd bring the tools to adjust it and just ride around and tweak it until it feels right. That's pretty much the best way to get it, but I know it's hard to decide at first. It just takes some tweaking and time The 15/15 was a guess and I chose that by figuring out the smallest angle where my toes won't drag on the frontside edge Just to give you shits and giggles, I learned how to "wakeboard" when it was called skurfing because there was only Skurfer's available and nothing else. My grandfather had the first pair of water ski's in Northern MN and I learned how to snowboard on a Burton woody. ie a wood board with three metal fins in the back and NO edges. Lots of fun on the ice. I raced and taught snowboarding lessons in the early 90's, but have been off of all water (water or ice) sports for more than 10 years. Time to get back into it!!

I like Mount Gay, but Sailor wins for me. Flora de Cana wins by far in that challenge. clear and spiced? I love the clear but I didn't fall inlove with their lower cost spiced rum. I think they have 3 ages do you know what you tried? Tried 4, 5,7, 12, 18. My choice is 7, 4&5 aren't good and 12,18 aren't worth it.

The first sentence doesn't mix well with the next two. Just run what you have first.

Luke, my idea on the rope is that comfortable enough is okay since in the long run I'll hardly be using it Figure that a cheap one could be fine for that.

I'm doing a prime rib on mine tomorrow. Haven't decided how I am collecting drippings and when I am doing the browning, but I'll probably just plop a pan of water underneath it. Half of me says brown first in the pan, half says brown after in a different pan and deglaze with the drippings (all)

I've never kneeboarded but I hear it can be brutal. I've tried to slalom so many times, but never could. Even when I tried dropping a ski I'd always end falling and swallowing about a gallon of water. I drop a ski periodically, but that would be the slalom ski. I can't deep start barefoot, but dropping the slalom has mixed results. Hurts too much to fall though. Perhaps I'll get a boom for the BU.

I like Mount Gay, but Sailor wins for me. Flora de Cana wins by far in that challenge. Cruzan for me; the 2 yr. dark stuff that's like 15 bucks a fifth. Smoother than comparably priced 4 yr. Cana when mixed with cola IMO. 7 yr. Cana beats them all but a bit too pricey, considering I only drink rum mixed... 7 year is the only Cana, 12 isn't any better and too much dough; 7 is worth the money though

If you get a wakeboard as well I recommend learning to ride with your feet at equal angles (ie 13 13). Reason being that once you get better it will make riding switch a TON easier. If you can find both used I would go for it. Maybe new boots if that grosses you out plus size 15 is going to be tough to find used. You could try duck butter if you have to size down, it's this lube shit they sell to help people get into the boots. IMO if you can get that broadcast for $100 go for it. I've ridden one and they're nice boards. I checked and I've seen them in 4"9' and 5"6 and either of those will work for you. Not to mention that boards about $300 new. How do you pick an angle in the first place, like the idea of uniform. When I snowboard its about 15/15 but they are parallel, but I like to go fast

Most the people I know who have developed a taste for that have also developed a taste for penis. I'd be careful with that stuff man. I'll defend him a bit and say that ONE is tasty, two is palatable and three if fucking disgusting. Have to be uber thirsty and lime is the only real flavor. I am an equal opportunity drunk...at least I'll try things once. Yes I have to agree drinking a couple is ok, but beer and malt beverages give me hartburn badly. Mostly the reason I enjoy drinking liquor. Interesting. Mikes would give me heartburn and so does any alcohol I add Coke to. Do you drink reg or diet Coke. Reg Coke gives me hartburn. I refuse to put any of that diet shit in my body
