Mine's been hit by water a couple times. Nothing a good fire won't resolve, but I tend to like to take it apart and scrub it with a wire brush first. Just makes me feel better lol

It wasn't just under powered, but noisy, shifty fit and finish, handling was crap. I was seriously the most disappointed I have been in a car in a really long time. I am generally a Mazda fanboy if I have to go Japanese but yikes was that thing a wreck. It was a stripped out rental so I don't consider it a final conclusion but it was bad.

The rental Mazda 6 I had was a complete POS. Unbelievable shitty. I assume it was a stripper version, but I couldn't believe a car that looked that good on the outside could be that much of a turd.

If it gets too long you can safely hold it all day in 140F water. Obviously seal it in vacuum sealed bags first so that it doesn't accrue any moisture, but from an FDA perspective that will keep you fine.
