No, but I'd like to know why you want to know Found a T-bird in K-zoo cheap that needs an engine. Only way to get it home is a tow obviously. That is what I was wondering.

I realize that, lol. And definitely I don't eat ice cream, but I am trying to remember what I was referring to.

    Me too.

Not for what you want, that is for thickening a sauce. You need to coat the flour with fat.

Where's that ice cream quote from?

In other words adjust for thickness. White gravy I make MUCH thicker than any other gravy. A brown gravy I'd use equal parts or perhaps even less depending on how runny I wanted it.

~ 1/8c per cup of milk. Need a heavy tbsp of fat in the pan for the 1/8c of flour. So 2 parts flour, 1 part fat? I've always used equal portions Depends on the application. Lots of liquid to thicken in a white gravy and normally you want it pretty thick. Just what I use when I use a pound of the bulk pork sausage from the co-op which nets me about 2 tbsp of fat and a bunch of fond. Flavor is in the browning much more so than the fat, important to get it to stick to the bottom of the pan. Also why I don't use the drippings/fat from the Chix fried steak itself.

Not necessary, just have to cook your roux. Not even necessary to use a low protein flour. In this case you want the flour to be covered with fat before adding the liquid. If you have drippings and not fat then instead of wondra just add your liquid into a jar with AP flour and shake it up.

What is wrong with bacon or sausage fat? Concurrent posting AND the solution. Personally I like sausage in my white gravy so I just fry up some bulk sausage and make the gravy with that. Can still put it on top of chix fried steak. I know it isn't right to the Southerners, but its better anyways.

German built too Australian, not German. Damn, guess so If it were an Opel the fit and finish would be better, but it would have a smaller engine.

  15. Even if someone responds with results they've measured it will not apply to your car. Daily and TL don't make sense. If you can't hear the difference why would you care? No. Not a rule of thumb that is viable. Vibrations in phase and matched in frequency will increase the dB's, out of phase enough to be deconstructive will decrease dB's and ones at different frequencies could do either or nothing.

That industry only likes to have three main players. Toshiba started it earlier in the year and now its finished, there will be no more. WD, Seagate, and ToFu. Wow.

Sounds like a fun flip. Fix it ride it sell it. Make money! Bikes in Reynolds 531 or better steel just don't show up in my size all that often. Going to ride it at least this year and see how I like it compared to the Lemond

See them ebay for $400 so at least I am not upside down even if I don't keep it.

A little rough, but $200. Just needs love and one spoke which cost me $1 on the way home. To be comfy I'll need a Nitto Technomic and a new seat post, but I have the post & saddle already. Possibly a new wheel as the guy busted a spoke trying to true it. Looks solid though so I bet I can get it round again. Won't spend more than 20 minutes on it though.
