Welcome to the IHoP
I am beginning to like Floridians less and less. One thing to be confused, completely another to be an ass and prescribe your confusion to others.

A bit of internal conflict here
Quarter-wave T-line, my bad Still huge unless you are tuning ultra high or not using an appropriate factor for the actual tube diameter. For 2 SA-8's my guess is that it would be at least a 16" x 16" T-line. Add to that it will be over 10' long and that will be one fucking huge box. My numbers are somewhat arbitrary as I haven't looked, but I am sure they aren't that far off from Martin King's recommendations. Oh, and the box above is NOT a T-line. Not even close. Probably just a butchered ported enclosure.

Glad I don't have an Uncle Jack with a horse

Welcome to the IHoP
Thanks J I was playing with one yesterday and it seems decent. I want to see what the video quality looks like on my tv. Currently I am converting HI8 video to dvd and the picture quality sucks! I'd check National Camera for refurbs. Everything is half price usually. Convenient, since I'm in a market for a camera They have a nice selection, just not the one I am looking for. I was looking at the Canon S90, $330 new is ok...it's over $600 here... Are you able to purchase it? Might be a dumb question. Way better selection in store usually....

Welcome to the IHoP
I usually only eat tenderloin when I want to use it as a method of getting a different flavor to my mouth. As in mushroom or a sauce, or pepper. It's like chicken strips to me, only good for getting honey mustard to my mouth. I love tenderloin, but its beef so of course.

Welcome to the IHoP
Even their damn tenderloin is fucking marbled. That is amazing, however, I'd rather have almost any other cut there as tenderness ISN'T a problem.

Shit is so good. Me wants. Makes the stuff at Kowalski's look like shit. Occasionally the Lunds/Byerelys in Ridgedale has nice looking Wagyu but it usually is subpar. Still better than their other steaks and a better value IMO. Less than 2x as expensive and I'd gladly eat half as much.

Subwoofer in new car, not the same
Mine had the skipass and fold down seats. Helpful. Making your ski pass will help, but NOT as much as correctly aiming it. How are you firing now?

Welcome to the IHoP
And yes, almost as much fat as meat...but its the melt in your mouth kind. I'd much rather have 3oz of that then 12oz of something with the same fat content. Plus fat isn't bad, sugar is. YUMMY!!

Welcome to the IHoP
And regrettably most of that wagyu is raised american style which means they nearly ruin a nearly perfect animal. ??? what I have purchased has always been marbled amazingly. Of course I have no clue what the ground meat looked like. Your idea of amazing and what you would call amazing in Japan are two different things. I bet! This was sold to me as "sirloin" which could easily mean NY as well and what I thought it was. This is Kobe marbling.

Won't be an extra amp, but very well may be pre-processed and knocking the signal out. Most likely though you are just missing the cabin gain from the SUV and experiencing the loss in the BMW. Firing direction in that car makes a HUGE difference. IE, you probably need to build a box specific for it depending on what yours is doing now. I take it you also don't have the fold down seat option, that was a life saver in my last 3.

SA 12 Ported behind my seat
Seems to me you have more space considering your port is just hanging out. If that is the case, more cone area is your friend. It could surely also help if you are truly trying to use 1kW per driver....which makes no sense on those 8's btw.

Couple Amp Questions
DMM does NOT measure impedance, but resistance. HUGE difference. Use the published impedance spec for the driver. I would also argue against using a DMM to set your gains, in particular since you are in a low voltage situation. Without a distortion analyzer you are going to be clipping until you solve your voltage woes. If you want help you'll have to describe the electrical setup of your install in much more detail.....

A bit of internal conflict here
Your car isn't nearly big enough for a T-line in the sub frequencies. Anyone who tells you differently doesn't understand the enclosure. Before making any recommendations it would be helpful to understand what you mean by no SQ and what enclosure your type R is in. 99% of the time it is the install at fault and not the driver.

driver problem?
That sounds right for XP, been a while...

driver problem?
Have to figure out what card it has and then getting a driver is easy. Pull up your hardware list and let us know.

Help with Amp....JL and weird impedances
Your amp is going to be expensive, either regulated like the JL or way oversized since you are at 3 ohms. Either way in the long run it won't matter though as it will be worth more when you get rid of it.

Of course riding half sick might be why I am tired, but damnit I can't let the snow disappear.

Way more stability in the air as well which is comforting, but makes me more aggressive lol.

Welcome to the IHoP
My legs are actual tired from my ride today. First more than 20 miles jaunt on the new beast. Have to say I love it. Bottomed out one of the front shocks today which shocked the shit out of me and would have REALLY, REALLY hurt on my old sled. Darn thing stayed straight in the process which is amazing considering the right ski was on fine ground and the left in a HUGE hole.

Muffled sound when volume is too high
Crap, I really hate the new advent of everyone recommending 32-34Hz tuning as for MOST drivers and MOST listeners it is WAY too low. 46Hz may be too high, but 32Hz is probably more too low than 46Hz is too high. Of course it is music and taste dependent on top of the driver, but ultra low tuning is not something that should be generically recommended. I'm going to guess his brother primarily listens to rap, (possible bad assumption) And I wasn't going to recommend 32-34hz, I was going to recommend 35hz Well we can wait for the op to reply and hopefully someone will notice the problem. And even then 32-34 is a bad recommendation. This is a Type R.
