i knew you would be in here sometime to say its not, im just saying it resemelbs something simliar sir. Actually I am really curious where the misinformation on T-lines comes from on the internet and how you could "design" a t-line that looked like that. I looked to see what I could find that was misleading people and didn't find it, yet it happens a lot. That is why I asked who/how it was designed first. Curious as to what you think your tuning is, why you didn't line the enclosure, how you calculated the area, how you calculated the length, and so on. There is no such thing as resembles. It either is or isn't. Sort of like taking a sealed box made for two woofers, removing one of the woofers and saying the box now resembles a ported enclosure (since it has a hole in it). I know perhaps I am perceived as aggressive on the forums but my actual purpose here is to truly understand why there are people who think T-line's are good for cars and how they think they are designing them. A reference for where they learned what they think they know would be interesting to me as well. So, that being said. How did you come about this box design?

I also own an L7. For the purpose it was acquired for it is a great driver. All of the anti-hype is a joke as is the implications form the video that it is the end of all other designs (no I didn't watch it). Everything is a balance. For my app, it was box size and output capability that made it win. Lots of limitations on a boat and it works perfectly and sounds great for what it was designed to do. Are there better drivers out there? Sure. Are there better drivers for the application that I am using it for? Perhaps, but not many. All based on the constraints of the install. Same thing when people bash the possibility of any 6x9 sounding good. It IS possible. Atm there aren't any on the market that I want, but it isn't at all because of the shape. As for why no one else builds square subs? Its all tooling cost and balancing the goals of their drivers. No such thing as custom tooling for small production runs and keeping affordability.
