Welcome to the IHoP
I used to do more than that in a year...and then an aftermarket stereo was well worth while. Speaking of, how are the TSA screenings? I think I would opt for the hand search, just for the free feel up. If it were a woman that did the hand search I am more than fine with it. I use the premium line and they don't really ever question me at all. Never even seen one of the machines in question.

5.1 Dolby Digital ?????
I know, I have some even. The real question is how many does the OP and is it worth it to him to build a system for those 3 CD's...or whatever they are.

x2 The exception being I have bought before I've sold meaning I had a month or two of interest, but that is trivial.

Yep, Merc's are ridiculous to keep running. BM'ers on the other hand aren't. The M5 was BY FAR the cheapest car to own I have ever had. And no rattles, leather was easy to take care of and with only 18's any road was fine. It also needed no work. Buying a car like that you really want to make sure you get it from a real owner and not some poser. I will also hand the keys to my AMG to the lease company when its done...unless of course I can sell it for more than the residual the E55 has 18's as well; unfortunately they're 245/40 F and 275/35 R its not a terribly hard decision though, (which usually means its the correct one) so no worries Unless they are WAY wider 35's never make sense IMO. Hell I think the 295/40's are too low profile that I have. A little more sidewall would be great.

Problem with old performance cars is though that you are better off buying the normal version and adding forced induction to get the power. Build your own ftmfw.

Hey, that's where I live. Didn't see the tent on the roof when I drove by in the blizzard during my Saturday morning pastry run.

can i replace my home powered sub with F.I. woofer?
Which will give you the DCR not the impedance, but you'll basically know from there. At the same time you can take better measurements of the box. Most off the shelf stuff is in something that is terrible for most applications. IMO if you want to upgrade on the cheap, figure out what the amp will do impedance wise and then build a box for a woofer that corresponds to the size that the woofer you choose fits in. Just use the amps load capability to pick the coils. The other thing you may need to worry about is built in equalization. Carver is known for plopping extra electronics into the amp to optimize the enclosures they use. If that is the case you may be better off selling what you have and starting from scratch with a plate amp.
