Welcome. You bought equipment that isn't geared to being loud, but it can do something. Can you give us more information on what the box is like, where your settings are now, and so on.

Welcome to the IHoP
And now with drawer and cabinet door: And a quick view of the guts and the spice rack and shelving I cut down: And yes, I know that the drawer is just square. Test door for me in case I build shaker doors for the rest of the kitchen. Only took 20 minutes to build the drawer so a new face wouldn't take very long anyways.

Oscilloscope-What to Look for
So then for which CD do you want to set the gains and what level is it at? Is it becoming obvious why there is no ONE answer to your question.

CDT Audio Classic vs. CDT Com-626
Again, I hope you've listened to them otherwise I wouldn't buy.

SPL: more Port Area or lower Port Mach?????
Within reason. Modeling is your friend.

Help me pick out some tweeters
Very probable you'll need a processor with level control as well to keep the overall gain down, but if you are running horns you'll need it anyways.

Help me pick out some tweeters
I think you may underestimate the differences in your hearing sensitivity at various frequencies. 110db @ 1khz is a lot different than 110db @ 50hz. Your hear is much more sensitive to sounds in the midrange than it is to subbass, so you will experience more "loudness" in the midrange with less SPL compared to subbass. It will only take a true HLCD a watt or two to reach 110db in the midrange. I doubt you could stand to listen to a consistent 120db in the midrange for any appreciable period of time, which for a 105db sensitivity horn would only take around 30w to achieve. You would probably reach your threshold of pain from the output of the horns before you would reach it from the output of your subs. The Sundown would be more than sufficient. You have me worried though.. you say 1 watt is enough for normal listening but i'll be using the 125.2 at 8ohms giving them 50-70 watts daily, I don't want to learn sign language anytime soon. I'm confused on what i should do now.. Then your ONLY choice is to turn EVERYTHING down. Again, there is a gain knob on your amp and should be on ANY processor that can handle active. Having a 1000w amp on the tweeters would then be fine, you'd just give the amp less voltage than you do your other channels.

First Post, Possible Setup
And now onto being helpful. $2500 is a nice chunk of change to do something nice. Have you heard anything you like?

Good then don't buy the overhyped way overpriced HAT stuff. WAY better options for less

DLS R6A 6.5" component set
I'd never buy a component set I couldn't listen to. As for what amp, thousands of choices. No way to answer without a ton more information.

Welcome to the IHoP
Nope, 7 months and still nothing. Crap man. I have been networking with people I know to see if anyone knows anyone. No luck yet. LinkedIn is BY FAR the best tool I have ever seen for shopping for a job.

Welcome to the IHoP
Not really a complaint about our business, but about the complete waste that big government brings to the table. Oh and the arms race isn't over, nor the spending on it. Amusing how it has switched directions.

i need help pickin a good h.u with good eq qualities
As I hinted and answered above, it is probably your amp, box, install.... If you truly want to improve it you should let us know as much about your system as you can.

Welcome to the IHoP
Stupid government may rent from us for $500k instead of buying for $800k. WTF. So inefficient in particular since they are at least 10 other programs in the same facility they could use the equipment for. For us it means more profit, but how stupid.

DLS R6A 6.5" component set
Yes, yes, and yes. Buy what sounds good to your ears, not what someone random on the internet tells you they subjectively prefer.
-
Amp decision
If you are just using them as gain blocks then it is a moot point as either will be more than fine to solve your needs.

i need help pickin a good h.u with good eq qualities
And for clarification, my comment on the parametric is *assuming* which I know I shouldn't do in particular with a directionless topic, that the problem you have is an anomaly in your response. The second portion of my answer is the one that will solve your problem I bet.
