I'd like to reload my garage
  3. Regrettably ears don't callous they just fail. Sad that it is the only sense that a human has where we are born with the best it will ever be.

My cost of ownership was $3200 including replacing the slave cylinder and all other repairs. Not bad for 5 years and 30k miles. *only including service and depreciation **standard wear items also excluded: ie brake pads, tires as these would be no different on any other car

As for what is next, I am going to sell my truck. What I buy, I won't even know until it happens. Either way I won't be owning 3 vehicles anymore, two is enough.

I change brake fluid about every 10K. This is the most over-looked fluid by far. I would exhaust all other options before switching to hydro-boost. What "tool" do you use? A wrench to open/close the bleeder valves, and a piece of clear hose connected to an old soda bottle. I'm old-fashioned. Pedal pump it out eh? BMW always tries to push their tool and I figured you'd have no part in that.

Sounds like fun, my son is envious. I will admit I am starting to feel my age, I got my ass beat at the Gwar show earlier this year. And yes I have floor tickets for this show, SO I will remember to eat my Wheaties. I have a lot of respect for the older guys who will hang with the kids on the floor at shows, it gets pretty hairy sometimes. Ya mosh pits can get pretty crazy. One of my buddies broke somebodies noes in one lol I need to go see another good concert The only rough part for me is when surfers go over head they whack my head and strain my neck. Otherwise my elbows win.

Not sure why you need an alternative to rice. My wife loves white rice, doesn't mind brown. She does not eat much for fiber and is a carb-o-holic. If this could quelch some of her starch cravings while getting in some extra nutrients that would be awsome. Ah, my impression of quinoa is that it is always boring.

<-- has never been to morellie's Great neighborhood butcher in St. paul. Sales are awesome when they are on and steaks were just amazing. Ah ha, have to go there one of these weeks. Are they are open on weekends?

And in reality I never tighten anything with an impact. Sure get it real close, but knowing how you torque every bolt is important. There are exceptions of course, but not many.

lol, the stock brakes on the Silverado are SERIOUSLY pathetic. Classic GM shit. My truck has a really hard time pulling my little 3500lb trailer. When braking the trailer always comes to the rescue as well. Soon hopefully I will be done with the GM poop.

Well, I've been paid for the M now but she is still in my garage. The moving company has until Friday to pick her up. Then the Silverado will get listed. Pulled out all the scratches and oxidation that occurs from sitting outside, but I want to put a final clean on the POS. Then we'll see how bad I take it in the pants on that shitbag. Off to the lake.
  23. Yep, if its audible you are on the verge of melting another driver.
  24. That isn't the amps fault. How are you measuring it?
