8" mid-bass drivers to keep up with xcon
Fundamentally there is still one really major problem. If you have a 15" sub with a ton of powering playing 60Hz and want an 8" midbass to "keep up" with it at 61Hz you are going to have to find a midbass that embarasses that sub. Good luck with that. Yes I know that the filters are far from brick wall, that was just to clarify the ridiculousness of the request. Figure out the cone area and excursion difference and the acoustic potential of the 15 will KILL anything in that range. If the OP truly would describe his GOALS as outlined in the little notes in my sig we would come to a different conclusion I am sure. I can surely make an educated guess on the best solution for him, but he makes more stupid threads without any input that we need on his part so I don't feel like it. I'll give you a MAJOR FUCKING hint though. Rethink your subs crossover point. For your goals they make no sense. On top of that, determining crossovers and slopes before you get the drivers is a major fail. They will sound like ass with the guess settings and really need to be "tuned" in place. No one can ever tell you ahead of time what they "should" be.

8" mid-bass drivers to keep up with xcon
NO, you don't get help because you don't try very hard in your questions. The guidelines you've been told to read probably 80 times if followed would make your thread successful, but you don't seem to care to take the time to do that. Where's the fail?

That plow looks like its been around as well. I'd stop at 3/4, they are sprung heavy enough as is. Actually a 1/2 ton with upgraded springs may suit your fancy as well. Or a Raptor.

And of course the cheap one I find would be that one.

I don't care if there are bodies in the trunk. That's wicked nice. Tried to track down an aftermarket warranty or any warranty for it for that matter and nothing is available which crosses it off my list. My buddy had a CL65 for 6 months before it got lemoned and the warranty repairs on that had over 26 pages of work. MB took care of him in the end but tried to fuck him in the process. Considering the numbers of Alpina's produced, I don't want the "one" of the bunch that mimics his CL.

Same reason that rears do nothing positive, cancellation is a serious bitch. If you don't care how it sounds then go for it.

Thinking of buying an oscope..
Without stating a reason of why you want it, we surely can't tell if that will work. Most likely it would just be a waste of your money though.

Running multiple drivers playing the same frequencies in your front stage is a bad idea. If you are truly leaning more towards SQ then a single set will be fine.

8" mid-bass drivers to keep up with xcon
I told you to go re-read the noob guidelines before posting and this is what you come back with??? Stop being so lazy. :( There is NO single 6.5"-10" driver that you can use in 1cuft that will be anywhere near as loud as an Xcon at 60Hz. NOT EVEN CLOSE.

What do you use the mic for ALL the time then? Oatmeal, certain vegetables (steam bags), hot dogs, whatever left overs I feel will actually work in there, for instance, tonight I heated up a plate of roast I cooked yesterday along with the veggies, rice, warming my brownies; I ALWAYS have fresh brownies. . . Etc. . . I would never use it to cook something, and I never use it for poultry or pork. Interesting, I find it VERY strange you won't do poultry or pork but you reheat roast. The mic kills beef quick. I can also see a difference here. I don't buy instant anything, if its oatmeal I am using raw oats, veggies don't come frozen in my house (except peas), and I don't eat hot dogs. I like the always having fresh brownies I have no issue re-heating beef. Depending on size of course, I put it on for about 45 second, then flip, and continue until it's warm enough. Poultry, fiish, and pork are too easily dried by the mic, so I don't use it for them. Funny you mention peas as that's really the only thing I use the mic for vegetable wise. Gavin loves the frozen pea podsin a steam bag, so I get them for him all the time. Occasionally, I'll try some of the other stuff, but I don't much like forzen veggies. My beans and corn I buy canned, so they go on the stove. I will use the mic for potatoes though. I wrap them in a wet wash cloth and zap them several times. I also use this method for corn-on-the-cob if I'm in a pinch and have no time for grilling, and for rice, although I simply place it over the top of the rice. I have the unfair advantage of instant boiling water straight from the tap of my coffee machine at anytime. A quick bath, dump, bath and peas are done. Potatoes are actually a valid use as really a mic boils water and that is a reasonable way to heat them, but I don't eat "baked" potatoes. I do eat a lot of potatoes that I cut in half/quarters and douse in olive oil, rosemary, and sea salt. Usually small reds though. Those obviously have to be done in the oven or on the grill. I can't even stand what the mic does to the taste of sloppy joes. Any real meat and I am more concerned.

I like the way you think, but it would waste $200 finding them and he'd prep them so they would. Even still he needs to just suck it up and pay for it. That part isn't negotiable. Fuckers, some people don't understand cars have an age... Bushings are a bit worn, if he wants a new car he should buy a new car. What 20 year old car won't have worn bushings? What 94k mi car won't have worn bushings? Who do you know that has EVER replaced bushings that were worn on a car with less than 100k miles? Myself. Mileage is nothing, it's all about age with rubber, but I completely understand your point. Your car is garage kept, meticulously maintained, and in great shape, plus we all know German-engineered rubber is far superior to any other rubber. I should have clarified sub-frame bushings and eliminated people who did it to upgrade. Either way, you understood my point

Multiple Small subwoofer set up options
Ha, there is your first mistake. Don't assume the posts are labeled correctly. Test it yourself. So you are saying that Alpine's instructions may be at fault? All I know is that the amp is supposed to be bridged all the time so you don't have to do any extra wiring. The sub as well, but there is something clearly wrong as there is nomway that a 1000 watts is going to that sub. Guess it is time to upgrade my crappy multi meter. Nope, I am saying the labels on the coils on your subs might not be right.

The E55 needed new motor and tranny bushings at ~78 These are subframe bushings though so that don't matter.
