Welcome to the IHoP
Define "effectively" :lol2: Worse than my Chevy which is downright dangerous. My 3500lb boat really creates an issue for it. The Tundra's I've driven stop even worse though.

Why a mini man truck? If you're looking for some kind of dune hopping thingy I guess it might make sense. Buy your flavor of american well made and low cost to fix pick 'em ups :coughFORDcough:. If there is something the US knows how to do it's make a GD pickup truck. I dunno man. I will look into it but i doubt i will go full size, i just really don't know right now. I plan to make the purchase probably in ~2 years or so. Just looking at my options. The only thing i have to pull right now is my lil 16' john boat, that also needs to be fixed as well... FORD My 250 never gave me problems is good truck just not on gas thats the one thing i want some decent gas mileage. but with a truck i know its a losing battle Perhaps you should focus on low cost of ownership and not gas mileage. It will send you back the American way.

And I'd run like hell from the Nissan. The Tacoma may be fine, but it is undersized, underpowered, and looks like a girls truck in stock form IMO.

I've been the passenger in a few failed drifts, not in years but I remember the feeling.

Welcome to the IHoP
Not super easy to sell as it takes a special buyer. We'll see though, I am sure something will happen although I am sticking to my guns on price atm.

That was my original intent, but it made it about a week in the snow and I felt like crap. With a newer one that is leased though I won't give a shit.

Oven shopping isn't any easier. As soon as the car is gone though I have the monies to buy new ones so I'll do it.

Welcome to the IHoP
You guys are funny. I don't have a garage spot yet, so I can't buy shit. My whole life I've enjoyed test driving whatever I could that was fun, don't see why that should stop. On the other hand, the instant I don't have a car and a truck I'll need something fast so being prepared isn't such a bad idea. In particular since nearly everything I am looking at will require a plane ticket I don't really want to go through the courtship with the actual car I am buying, just one nearly identical to it. Plus this is the hop.

Now if the CTS-V were $40k new then it'd be a different story. The new SHO is actually way more car, but would need more power and some suspension work to really be neat. I'd love to see an SVT SHO.

All the shit you talk about GM and you're still messing around with the Caddy idea? No, wasn't messing around with the idea but driving to justify why I wouldn't. You know me well enough to realize that I have to explore all options before making a decision. Personally I am a bit scared of the V10 beast that BM'er puts in its flagship sedan but it is easier to swallow the risk if there is nothing else out there that I like. I'd actually take a 550i over the CTS-V from how they drive. Wouldn't be as fast sure, but that isn't exactly everything.

What did you think? Auto on the cts-v I assume. Both were impressive, but overpriced. The CTS is too small, which I knew, but wanted to get in one again. Figured it was a good way to spend my lunch. It did confirm a few things to me though. 1) Japanese cars are boring, the Infiniti was the closest one of them to me liking, but at $70k it should stir your soul more than it can, 2) I am no longer interested in an E class Merc at all, 3) If the Cadillac weren't so damn ugly and overpriced it would be a good buy, but considering 09 M5's and 09 CTS-V's are within $5k (almost the same actually) the car is a complete joke. It should be significantly less. I don't understand the hype that is keeping used ones at nearly used prices. 4) The S4 is too small, 5) And most importantly, I am really only interested in a BMW or Jaguar atm but the Jag I want isn't really for sale. Figures, I knew this shit 2 years ago but had to go through the damn diligence of thinking about it incessantly.
