Packing rules? It takes me about 10 minutes to pack for a week to Europe. And that is when it is a mix of business and pleasure. And yes, I still only take carry on as I hate checking anything.

Here is the collection I have from CD. Nothing in here was downloaded.
  4. It is EASY to measure THD on sine tones. Of course the definition is a bit variable which of course the manufacturer in this case will take liberties with on their specs. If you want to measure THD on music it is much less trivial.

Saw your other note. Can't complain about the price then and if they do what you need they are exactly what you should have
  8. The E is a throw away woofer, not worth another. Instead if you "must" buy something, find something used you can resell later and recoop your cash.

That isn't cheap. In a car like that I don't want a motor, just a clean body. 68 >> 67 But I love them both

FUUUUCK. That sucks Nick. Mine were hurting from my old shoes and pedals, glad I spent the dough on the upgrades.
  13. Just precautionary anyways, no reason for a CB. Just use a fuse and if it blows FIX what caused it first.

10 might have been generous, but HP and gas mileage in a 68 don't really go hand in hand.

Ha, I used to drive to Duluth for fun too. Although unlike you it cost me gas. I managed about 10mpg in the XL and unlike you I was driving from Moorhead so it was a bit further.
  18. Your amp wouldn't like the touching, that's for sure. As for what to try. Since you have a throw away in there strain it. Grab some cd you are familiar with and use normal listening levels and keep reducing the crossover point until it sounds funky to you. Before adjusting turn the volume all the way down and then back up. It usually helps to listen to just the tweeters and not all the drivers. Don't do this to destruction levels, just use it to familiarize yourself with stress. Its possible that some sort of vibration is causing your amplifier to do funny things. I would also drive around listening to just the throw away tweets with nothing else. Perhaps at lower levels and lower cross points so you can listen to see if anything on the road creates some stress in them. If it is really tiresome to your ears to just listen to your tweets you could have your mids playing, but turn their levels way down so the tweeters dominate to make it easier for you. I too think its your amp, but perhaps it isn't a problem when sitting still.

Reminds me of when the Geo Metro came out. I think there was a pre-requisite of 300lbs+ to be a qualified buyer for it. My only friends that had one were a couple and together they were easily 700. That poor car looked trashed 3 weeks after they bought it.
  20. There are a ton of drivers good enough for my big freaky ears, but what separates the success from the rest is the install. The CA is rather easy to integrate which is why IMO it is a great suggestion for a first time active setup.

Had a hard time waking up. Legs are sore today as well. The 8 Summit's last night probably didn't help.
