Interesting, can't really say why, but nonetheless I am not surprised.

Peng, where is this report from?
  3. There are WAY better options for an active setup and NONE of them would ever be 2ohm as that makes no sense for front stage speakers. No such thing as "too much power" just too much of you turning the knobs up. Headroom is your friend.

I blame the crockpot. Of course I think they just ruin food in general.
  5. Umm, no. Putting an amp with 400w on a driver is NOT the same as throwing 400w to them. They will not take 400w thermally. They also won't take it mechanically unless you defeat their whole purpose by crossing them too high. TERRIBLE recommendation.

My wife is quite happy. The 5 year old apple laptop we have that I post with while watching TV/cooking/napping/drinking/spending romantic evenings (90% of all my poasts from home) just crapped out. She would out of the blue sometimes just get mad at me for having the laptop in my lap instead of cuddling with her. I get lectured about that regularly. I bought the wife her own laptop to do her own thing and have not heard a word since. She has one for work and brings it home, so I get the "all we do is sit on our computers, its sad" which translates into I need to be held or fucked then held.

That should be closer to $25k, although they have adders for mods that I'd never use so my price is biased. I've seen some running ones go for near $20. I need one like that as I get to cut it up just to fit inside

I'd rather pedal than run, rollerblade, walk, or any other aerobic exercise I can think of. I am going to get in shape and I am going to enjoy it.

Prostate is fine, ass is actually pretty good as well. After lunch I am going to go try for another 10mi. It may rain me out though and I can't do it this morning due to conference call hell.
  17. Bangin' this is easier than you are making it. Set your sub gains. Shut off your subs. Set your midrange/midbass (lowest frequency driver of the group) via an Oscilloscope Set you HP filter around 150Hz Play music ONLY through the midrange/midbass and listen for struggling speakers. Slowly turn down the HP until your speakers start to have issues. Realize you can have more output at higher frequencies & gain with a higher HP. Once you've settled on a HP and gain for the mids then with ONLY the mids and tweets on set the gains for the tweets by ear to match them to the mids. *all boost, all eq, all t/a, all everything else should be set to neutral* **if this is for a passive set then you have no gain for the tweeters, but I'd still set the gain with the mids only. After setting it for the mids, connect the tweeters only and listen to them alone to make sure they aren't struggling at where you set the gains** ***for gain matching if you are running active you'll also have to set your HP for the tweeter the same way as you did the mid, although I will add that regularly and hopefully running it at a higher point could be better*** Listening to EACH type of driver on its own is really important in this procedure. If they sound like hell alone, it will only get worse once you add more. That is a disadvantage, not a benefit. I really hate that they sell comps rated like that.

I used to work at a bicycle shop. we used an air compressor, wasn't time to hit it with the pump. But have a couple mountain bike tires blow up in your face at 40 psi and don't tell me you won't be a little uneasy putting a 100psi in a tire. Really gets nerving when the rims creaking and groaning. I have a compressor that is usually aired up as well but bought a hand pump for exactly that reason 5 pumps takes nearly no extra time over grabbing the hose (on a retractor), plus I won't always leave from my house and so far all I've found are those adapters you have to screw on which suck my butthole.

Hahaha! I know the feeling! Just got the mountain bike out today and now I am paying for it! Nice bike btw! I just broke my bike out yesterday as well to ride to the gym to lift. It's so old and pathetic though, I REALLY need a new one. Both wheels have slight bends at certain points, which causes the front one to ever so slightly rub the brake once per revolution. But I can't adjust the brake width any wider because then the brake handle won't have enough travel to easily apply the brakes. Chain and gears are pretty rusty as well, had to apply some WD-40 before even attempting to take it out. Who knows how much increased resistance is aged into the thing, ha. Gets me in shape faster I guess though, right? Pretty easy to true the rim better than it is then. You'll need a nipple wrench (WAY easier than without) and you can tighten the spokes away from the bend to pull the rim back into shape. If its really way out it won't get perfect, but you'll surely get it better.
