Welcome to the IHoP
I have to say I do not understand the relationship of Tikka Masala and General Tso's. In particular when there are 100's of Tikka Masala variations. Sort of like saying tomato chicken hot dish to an Indian...assuming you can translate hot dish.

Mine has less than $20 in pine and a couple hours assembly at most.

Welcome to the IHoP
Never tried to make it, but I consider that Chinese as much as a Mexican considers Taco Bell authentic.

She likes to use a dull knife? Yes for things like cutting a banana into baby size pieces and other shit that is handheld. I don't know, I still use one that cuts.

Foaming doors for spl competition
I hope not, that is basically crap. And that would be even worse. I think there is a bit of a misconception problem here.

truck box- sealed l7s
Don't. L7's are great in the application they excel at, but a small sealed enclosure for output is not something they will do well in. Keep the one and port it, it will be significantly better than a pair sealed for what you want.

Welcome to the IHoP
Just realized we have a couple knives that we received as a wedding present. I never ever use them for anything, but since they came from the W's family they sit in a drawer. She uses the paring knife sometimes because it is dull. That gets a ride in the dishwasher.

Even my "dishwasher" knives never go in the dishwasher. My dough hook does though, but being all metal I don't see the problem.

Welcome to the IHoP
I think a triple batch of dough might kill yours. I assume your dough hook is plastic. Mine is metal, but I think either will be way more than strong enough

5qt instead of 6qt, slightly wimpier motor, plastic parts on some places instead of all metal. I like that one better than the big dog (which I have) though as mine doesn't tilt which sucks. Mine raises up and down which is a bitch to get stuff in and out of in comparison. When kneading dough, sometimes mine dances all over the counter.

Now you know why I asked you about a mixer.

Welcome to the IHoP
You're not talking about the tonic for my vodka I bet. How'd you guess?

Welcome to the IHoP
Maybe I should rent mine out and buy something across the street

Welcome to the IHoP
LOL! The HOA says so, not me. Although I could rent my house and still park my boat there. Hmmm.

high income low credit is particularly amusing. I mean wtf are you thinking? I carry no balance on my credit cards, have no loans outside of my house, and have scores well into the 800's. The only knock on my credit is that I have a revolving balance usually of around $5-10k but that is almost all business expenses and monthly so not much I can do about it. As a percentage of what my cards support though it is less than 10% so I find it amusing they call it a high revolving balance.

Welcome to the IHoP
They will, but the renter doesn't get my boat slip.

Welcome to the IHoP
If not, you aren't going to like me.

Welcome to the IHoP
Matt, do you have a mixer?

Welcome to the IHoP
I am amped for your knives too. There are a couple more I need and one of them is definitely a sashimi knife.

Welcome to the IHoP
Doesn't mean I haven't thought about buying some rental property, but I'd choose the property for that purpose then.

Welcome to the IHoP
Doubt I could rent my current house either. I just don't imagine people renting for $5k/mo here.

Welcome to the IHoP
Umm, that would have been bad. The location I lived in wasn't rentable so much as it was near horse barns in the country. Particular buyers would love it. Plus I sold it for $460 and today it is probably worth $280 Gotta love tripling your money in 7 years

Welcome to the IHoP
I bought the house I am in for the long haul. Done flipping, too much fucking work and I should be able to make more money doing what I do best and not trying to do what other people can do much more efficiently.

Welcome to the IHoP
I am jelly, have all the blades ready? I wanted an rlp 15 or the old TC ultra(was/is it the LMS on PE?). Then I found the mael-x, and thought that 2 of those would do better than one of the other. I have two blades. Should be enough for nearly everything I need to throw at it. The plan for the living room is a downfiring, port down box that I will cover to look like a piece of furniture. Figure it is a good first shot with the saw as it will be hidden mdf although I don't expect any issues as cutting squares with a table saw isn't so tough. Good excuse for the woman though on why the speaker boxes happen first shhhh
