Welcome to the IHoP
or anywhere else that managed to escape the real estate bubble for that matter The Midwest (IL, WI, MN, ND, SD, IA, NE) normally don't have the fluctuations the rest of the country has. Chicago is amazingly stable for a big city. Ours flatlined, don't know that it decreased. Some people overpayed, but hey there are plenty of idiots...including my neighbor All the bubble busting did here is slim down the choices on the market. Everyone here thinks they can get rich flipping houses. Those and the impatient are the ones getting stung here.

Welcome to the IHoP
Amusingly Fargo ND is way more expensive than that.

Huh? That is an E46, if you look hard you can find one for $10k. $15k would buy you a very nice one. Amusing, FWD is a No-Go for me or my wife. No way, no how. I don't need understeer in the snow. I'll take a well balanced RWD ANY day of the week in inclement weather. Guess I need to look at the badge better. I will take the getting pulled felling anyday over the getting pushed. I own 3 4wd's and still drive my Honda all winter except for the very worst days. I like how I can over/understeer with the throttle and really turn with the e-brake. Huh? Why would you EVER want to understeer. The e-brake will work in any drive format. In a RWD you can turn with the throttle, with front you CANNOT.

Ascendant Audio Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra
Its definitely been done. You won't need 10x if its leaky...although if you are after loud you'll have big gains with an enclosure, but I realize that you want your space.

I need to pick a new phone
I use a Blackberry and have for more than 5 years. It USED to be THE business phone, but at this point it can blow me. I will not own another and will replace it. Their new phones are WAY behind.

Amp tuning help for Bl 15
Phase is dependent on your car and front stage, LP is personal for instance mine is at 50Hz but some prefer closer to 100Hz, subsonic should be a few Hz below your box tuning frequency, gain should be set with an oscilloscope to make sure you are not clipping.

That's because no one wants to live there. I've had friends move from Mpls to Dallas and pay cash for houses.

Welcome to the IHoP
I looked at over 300 houses before buying mine. Took a few years... Why does that not surprise me... I'm trying to find a rental for August lease, and what I want is damn near impossible in this town it seems like. Try buying a house in the Aspen Valley, the economics here are FUBAR'ed. The cheapest 3bd/2ba is 250,000 and thats cheap. That is cheap. I sold my 3br/2ba house for $450k and I lived 20mi from downtown.

Four Q's vs Four Bl's? What differences can you expect?
Eh I've ran em and they are good but too expensive for him. Plus they are 1750 rms, would be a waste then for four - not enough power. Also they are more ""SQL"", so I bet btl's or maybe even the bl's would get louder. (Not that the xcons dont get loud) No such thing as "SQL" or underpowering a subwoofer. siigghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. 1: okay, its a sq sub that has a 1750 rms rating. 2: why should he pay more for a setup of subs that would have 3000 watts worth of headroom when the bl's would be cheaper and land right at the amount of power he has? Who knows he didn't share his goals so it might be a better choice.

My neighbors house which is 500 sqft smaller and required a FULL remodel when he moved in was bought for less than 10% less than 2x what I paid. After the remodel he had $150k more than 2x what we paid.

Which one will be louder ????
With an EBP of 157, I don't know any program worth using that would suggest a sealed enclosure. If there is a program that suggests sealed w/ a Qts of .2 and an Fs of 34hz....stop using that program. Rofl, most definitely.

Big 3 aquired, still having lights dim
Do you have aftermarket headlight bulbs? Your DMM I would be isn't fast enough to pick up the voltage drops. How did you set your gains?

Welcome to the IHoP
I will offer this, if you ever make it to my neck of the woods, I will let you wear one and get some pictures. Almost worth a flight on its own Maybe during the Haunt season, we love special guests You could even wear a pair of power jackers to get well over the 7' mark. Well over for sure. I am only 5" away without

Two-way active front stage
I asked him about doing some horns, but we haven't heard since. Until he responds it isn't worth thinking about tweets. Needs to determine if horns are a feasible solution, but I am not sure what the budget had to cover so can't say. Then need to determine mounting location limitations, then processing, then drivers/amps.

which amp for my subs??
