  1. As others stated, terrible idea to just add another woofer. You have to replace what you have, not add to it. Also, you don't need 4-5V outputs, not at all what I'd recommend looking for spec wise when digging for a head unit. A more general budget and goals would get you a lot further to meeting what you want.

Why 3kW? Sounds to me like you are doing everything for all the wrong reasons. Perhaps a goal and overall budget would help us direct you better.

    Vampire rats?
  4. Just turn the gain down, you won't notice or hear the difference anyways.

Just rode the sled back from the bar. Visibility on the lake was around 10', needless to say I had a little detour as I had to cross 5 bays and when you can't see very far it isn't easy to stay pointed teh right direction. The snow was incredible though. What kind of sled? 02 Polaris Edge X 600 Polaris is the shit yo My buddy Josh with the Firebird is on his way to the Poo dealer right now to pick up a brand new Rush
  6. Maybe a smaller box is a better idea. If hitting is what he wants there are other more appropriate woofers, but the Q is still impressive

    How did it taste?
  8. Because QueenMOAB said so. If you mean Lord Queen that is a TERRIBLE reason to choose anything. He knows absolutely nothing about how to make anything sound loud or good.
  9. I doubt the other test was valid either. Perhaps. What distortion level was it done at and how was the distortion measured?
  10. That maybe real world, but it is not a valid test of the amplifier.
  11. The Q and W7 aren't similar at all. Curious to know what he was impressed about the W7 with. It would help us understand what will work for him better. Also need to know how big of a box he is willing to have, what size amp (or budget). Oh and don't write off the Kickers, although dual CVR's isn't what I'd probably choose from them.

IMO by far the best bang for the buck sled on the market. Amusingly I bought mine 4-5yrs ago for $2500 and today I could sell it for $2500 That's how I like my snowmobiles.

  14. I believe Buwalda requires a minimum of 8 orders per group buy to place the order, which means he's already moved atleast 24 units @ $1200 a pop Fits with the rest of his stuff price wise and utils per dollar.

    meh
  16. Holy crap no way. You are condoning doing business with the shadiest internet car audio company EVER. Just plain wrong, even if his stuff performed which in general it doesn't it would be a completely idiotic maneuver to buy anything from Steve. 1 minute of searching and you'll find at least 50 people he's screwed. Really easy. :(

  19. Any more than my target price and it isn't worth it. You nailed that. I did only look in Yadabashi, but as stated rather confusing store considering it is 10 levels big and has everything. All around electronic town in Akihabara I saw no sign either, but that really wouldn't make the easy to spot locations neither. $1200 is retarded.

Not sure, that is the dumb part. He got screwed by the architectural committee and his neighbor, but that isn't his beef according to the letter we received. Hopefully he'll talk to me this weekend so I can start ironing it out.

You should see him in a Mustang. I should've snapped a picture. Hey, I even managed to drive...sort of. Wasn't about to beat on someone else's car, so it was more of a little tour behind the backseat. You need to come back down here and drive the GT. I look forward to it.

Celebrities don't excite me, I get much more excited to meet people I will actually care about.
