Welcome to the IHoP
Amusing, pegged over the net. The more fun part is tough...but there are a ton of fun things I want. I prefer the W211 to the E39, but the E60 I like better than the W211 or whatever they call the new thing. Both the S class and 7 series can blow me, although if I had to in that class it too would be the Merc. The tie breaker of course though if I like two cars 100% completely equal I'd choose the Bavarian brand over Stuttgart in this case. The other side of Stuttgart though is another story

The two comments weren't meant to be together. I youtubed C&S and found it all shit. If people listen to it all the time and there is "good" C&S then I want to hear it. While typing that I wanted to hear it, I realized I have no bass music. That I can ask for later, just amusing

And how much extra is an 07 worth over an 06 so you don't have the first year. In particular with the SMG which took a few months to nail down. *possible to buy out the car at the end of the lease **scared as hell to own it without a warranty though

Welcome to the IHoP
I would pay enough to get me into an quick S class. =) Or the m5 You have to understand that I am a cash only buyer, if I can't afford it, I don't buy it. Pretty much against a payment. There's a tax advantage here too...

Welcome to the IHoP
In particular if it were a lease and at the end of it all you had/got to walk away

Welcome to the IHoP
How much would you pay out of your own pocket monthly if one of your work perks was to have a car paid for?

Welcome to the IHoP
How often would you drive a Pantera if you had an E60 M5? Especially if you had a wife and baby?

<--owns absolutely ZERO bass show off tracks, not that this is what this is about but I did realize as I was typing this that I have nothing that impresses average Joe when he thinks subs. Convenient perhaps for the car, but I will be interested in seeing what I can do to my foundation once I finish my Home Theater room. *like usual, haven't started yet.

Ok, how many people seriously listen to C&S. We have posters all the time asking about it and all that I know about it is our conversation on here earlier. So what I am wondering is what is a "good" song? I'd love a few just to hear. Probably laugh, but wth.

Best Subs For My Goal?!

Welcome to the IHoP
2x a year is all for me. Spring and fall. Too lazy to do three cars anymore often. Basically the W is useless when it comes to cleaning her car. Luckily she is a champ for nearly all other projects when I need a 3rd hand though. I'll take the trade-off....even though I have no choice

probably, bugs aren't too much of an issue around here until the lovebugs come out, then all hell breaks loose normally I just pre rinse like Aaron does, but I went ahead and tried the dish soap on top of that followed by a wash/wax combo (because I'm feeling really fucking lazy today ); works beautifully on the buggies, and boy does she shine good, even considering it is 10 year old paint No polish? not unless you want to come down here and do it for me Polish >> Wax

Use a clean rag

If they got rid of the ricer graphics package it would look a LOT better:

Wow, that was very close actually. When I drove up to Idaho for the weekend, I saw an Audi R8 pulled over in the road. Damn that's a sweet car. My neighbor has one, doesn't drive it in the winter though.

I'd like to play with a Veyron for maybe a weekend or so then go back to a real car I have a hard time with that

Rockford Fosgate Compoents
i never said anything about a 5.1 processor. my kids watch movies and so do i and having rear fill helps. why are u so mad about how i like my car to sound Mad? Not mad at all. What I think isn't funny is that you haven't experienced the other, but know which is best. Not a good way to make decisions in life.

4th Order Bandpass for two 12 Q's?
Be careful with your design to optimize the passband to fit your goals.

And with 3 sets it wouldn't even be setup well. Again if you really put the time in the front stage will always be better. The whole surround sound thing is a joke. Do you truly sit in your car and watch movies from the drivers seat? If so, do you have a full 5.1 processor? Are your fronts completely matched drivers for all three channels? And if so, is it really worth doubling your budget to do that for how often you do? Now, having a different stereo for the kids in the rear seat is a complete different discussion. Personally I'd run that off a complete different headunit and give them headphones, but some cheap 4" full ranges would be more than adequate for what they need.
