mm..steak sounds fricken amazing I had steak tonite, mmmmmmmmmm good! Ribeye is the best steak to me for some reason, I like them all but prefer a Ribeye. ribeye is very good, had that a couple weeks ago why dont you just eat filet minon rich ass Normally what I buy, but it isn't like its expensive. I buy whole tenderloins at Costco (regularly $5-7/lb) and if you cut 8oz steaks that means you are eating $2.50-$3.50 for your cut and that is cheaper than a Big Mac (I think, haven't eaten fast food in a long while) I do the same at sams. Sean do you think costco > or = to Sams club for prices? Sometimes I would really like to not shop at Sams, and an alternative option would be good. I prefer costco to sams. If you want to peruse around, go to the entrance and tell them you forgot your ID, they will then tell you to go to the service counter. Go when it is busy and just walk by the service counter.

In my E36 I fired forward and dropped the pass through seat which worked better than back or anything else, but I didn't have the convo top in the way. I'd bet rear firing, but not sure. Not exactly easy cars for "bass"

Brett Farve better not start that again this year, after today's game and all those hits he took I think this will be his last year. Plus he made it one game away from the Super Bowl, he knows he doesnt have it in him again and this is the best way to retire. I know he would of wanted a Super Bowl but at least he had one more chance at one if it wasnt for all those turnovers. Arguably his best year as a pro, on a team that really made the Saints look non-competitive (if there weren't 6 fumbles and 2 INT), that required shenanigans from the refs to help them win in OT, that being said I am sure he is coming back. Also sure he'll retire first and skip training camp.

    Did you watch the game?

Ending like that you know he'll come back, after his re-re-re-re-retirement.

And if it weren't for the refs, they still would have one. Not 1, but 3 bad game changing calls on an overtime drive including one that was reviewed is absurd.

Even low voltage that wouldn't meet code here, you need to restrain those wires...

You got your wish, although you can thank the refs and not the Saints themselves. They were completely outmatched.
  10. $2k for a passive setup is a HUGE waste of money. If you are going that route just buy some $250 components and a cheap amp and call it a day. All those boutique brands you listed will just rob your pocketbook as the install will be the limiting factor. Conversely if you are really into spending $2k, pay someone $1500 to do the install...just make sure you pick your installer wisely. And yes, rear fill is still a waste of money even with your change of plans.

Kneading a double batch (8 small pizzas) of dough in my mixer and it is dancing all over the counter. Each rotation moves it at least 3" and then back, sort of like an orbital sander. Takes forever to type as I have to turn around to watch it all the time. Bitch is hot now too Yummies

Glad you took to heart our conversations and more importantly glad you can hear the difference for yourself as your stereo is for you.
  17. Considering how rampant Chris makes threads I expect that the portion that you label VERY CAREFULLY he'll ignore. Hopefully by me posting he will re-read it.

I am curious. I can guess who one of them is, but they seemingly stopped doing it to me so I am no longer sure. Either that or one of you guys fixed all the negs he added to my posts.
  19. To start out with I'd just extend the port externally and see if it helps. If you get the port up so the tuning is lower (35Hz) range and it still won't play low you know you'll have to increase the box size. This will reduce the power handling though (inc box size) so beware.
  20. If you noticed anything then you had the rest of your system setup wrong. There will be NO SQ difference, not even close.
  21. There is NO advantage, just a marketing gimic. *as long as your amplifier can compensate, but conveniently any amplifier worth a shit takes this into account. The net result is that the ONLY difference is that you have to turn the gain knob up a teeny little bit when going to a h/u that has a lower output. I'll also add that most headunits have a hard time hitting their advertised voltage. Again 100% marketing nonsense. Not a spec to worry about.
  22. No way, no how to either question. Think about how loud your car is. As long as your noise floor is below that you have nothing to worry about. Having a dynamic range of 100dB is way overkill in mobile applications. As for the 2v vs 4v the only difference will be that you will have your amplifier gain turned a teeny bit higher to compensate. If you have a deck that you can hear the acoustic difference in each step of the volume knob then on a 4v deck you will be only outputting two volts one step down from max volume (max no clip level). If you can't hear the difference it could be a couple steps or if your ears are stellar. Again either way it is easily compensated with the gain knob on your amplifier (and in fact why your amplifier has a gain knob).
  23. Glad to know you have an asshole. Part of my dislike for the MB is what Maxxsonics has done to them. Check out their "new" components. They should really have a crunch label and not an MB. They are doing everything they can to get mainstreamers to buy based off past reputation and considering what they have done to the other companies they have swallowed I am 100% sure that they are cutting corners they shouldn't on components and assembly on their amplifiers. Pre-Maxx purchase MB's are more than fine.
  24. Chris, fix your first post and I will re-open this. If you don't I will remove your posting capabilities from the site. You have been warned more than anyone and as stated you now have to try harder than others as well.
