loudest 15' sub
I've never even heard of a 15 foot sub. That is a hell of a big dog. So you already have a box, but aren't sharing the box volume? That is going to make whatever gets recommended an all out fail. I wasn't asking for a recommendation on a sub i have one already! The question was what is the loudest single 15" daily setup you've heard. Stupid fricking question. Its all in the install. And you didn't ask about a 15" sub, but a 15' sub.

Nope. Looks like a normal post.

Welcome to the IHoP
Every other thread on the site is fast, just the hop slow. So I figured if it were the size of the other threads it would be fast. Your recommendation seems logical though as well.

Not me, if I edit you can't see it. Funny since I don't really edit

Welcome to the IHoP
Curious to know what brand of oil they use. Castrol Syntec blend. 7.3 quarts of it for $23.50 + filter which for a dealer I don't consider too bad. I went mostly as I wanted to get the full service records for the car as I forgot to pick them up when I picked up the car. I just want my ducks in a row for the Certified Warranty it has considering it is bumper to bumper to 100k. Good deal for sure. The ripoff is the $14 filter. That will make me not go back perhaps, depends on what they are online. Paper or cellulose? This is what I added I use Amsoil filters. Not sure. Whatever Volvo specs, being Swedish I am sure it is environmentally one of the better choices. I don't really use Amsoil anything except 2 stroke oil. That I will probably switch to Klotz next year as well.

Welcome to the IHoP
Alright, I think I am going to vote to split the Hop up. It loads so slow it is frustrating to view. I say divide it and continue on.

alot of noise being picked up
Either a bad cable or ground. I'd test the cables first as it is the easiest.

american bass mids and tweets
Obviously you aren't concerned with how good they sound so what is it that you want to know?

Round port calculations
Not sure why this is confusing. Imagine your 14" long port that is 4" tall. By default even without the rounding you can line up 3 4" round ports and fit them in the port. You'd still have 2" left over and all the corners. Easy to imagine that indeed it will take 4-5 to equal the same port area. Perhaps a discussion over how you chose what port area and why you'd even think about using 4" pipe when a 6" would be a lot better would be a good discussion.

Building Passive Crossovers
You will never find a tweeter that will take 300w and are going to have to pad the shit out of it to match a single 6.5 driver. Considering your goals you can use the cheapest capacitors you can find and you won't hear the difference, in particular if the amount of design time you are going to put in is based on the calculator thingee you found. Same with inductors and whatever else. Easy to put this way, you can't even buy anything as cheap as the junk that come in component sets. Define "music heard" as this is foreign to me. How can they tell you they can't hear it? ie what level below the bass is acceptable and what level of bass are you trying to achieve. Stupid parameters for a competition btw.

Snow?? No it is not snow . It was happening the other night too. It is being addressed. Going to anyone particular thread will get you around it. Doesn't seem to matter which, just not the general site.

Welcome to the IHoP
Kinda curious as to why you wouldnt run them in a 2-way setup. They fall apart in the mids. Fine for many, but I like transparent voicing in the midrange and that wouldn't be their strength. Super hard to match them with a tweet that is worth a shit without going large format too. Sure the Seas is fine, the Scan-speak stellar, but I'd make my compromises elsewhere setting up a 2 way. Midbass though they are machines at. I love a great midrange and dont want to lose that. I have been thinking of running them with some horns and try to tame them as much as possible. Do you think the AA 7" Carbon Fiber Mids would be good in a 2-way system with a tweet or would it be along the same lines (the make-up of the AA makes it look possible)? Horns play lower than tweets normally, or at least they have the potential to. Don't go find a mid that works well in a 2 way and apply it to your install.

If you can go bigger with your horns, it would be better
