Eclipse no more?
Interesting. My 8455 doesn't have that hiss, neither did my 8053. You seem to want everything and buy nothing., but it isn't like Eclipse built them anyway. More or less they are still available.

Welcome to the IHoP
Out of the last 200 flights I have had, I have had no delays outside of weather. No bags lost either. I will say that US Air seems grossly incompetent, but outside of that I haven't really had issues. *note, I don't check bags hardly ever as I usually end up in Delta's First class cabin.

Eclipse no more?
If you and Aaron decide to call it quits I will be paying you a visit...because I'll have TONS of free time from not being on here! It is not happening anytime in the near future, unless we get some nutty offer for the entire SSA umbrella. You sell to the Ant and the whole car audio world will be corrupted. Please don't.

Sealed or Ported
That isn't very helpful. Clean? Anything on this site will do that Low end bass? Again anything on this site will do that...unless your definition is jacked Potential to get loud? Wow, specific. This really needs to be nailed down.

Our whole company contract is up with T-mobile on our Blackberry Service sometime the middle of this year. I may move us to this Droid you all speak of, but need a demo of its business apps.

I'd be hugry after 2 hours. That is one light breakfast. The only thing I'd normally like more of is bread, but when you don't have good bread at home you can't do that. My freezer is empty in that regard.

Best enclosure design for ssa xcon??
Curious as to what you mean by "best" and what decisions went into that. Shape doesn't really matter.

Routing power?
Indeed, a distro block. I would assume each item needs to be fused as well. However many you need of these screwed to a little board would be fine. If you really search you could probably find a whole block of them already together. Parts-Express.com:

BL or SSD
Don't look at power ratings, sort of a useless number. Much better to describe your goals and ask which would be better. Then the answer will be easy AND helpful for you.

What programming do you usually watch on TV?
NFL games, Wild games, and Food related shows. Pretty much nothing else.

Eclipse no more?
Not surprised. More and more you won't see people changing out headunits in the future. The OE stuff is getting better and that is obviously where the cash cow is for companies like that.

The 360.2 doesn't do 3way+sub. You are going to have some else to bandpass the SLS.... I didn't actually mean what frequencies as that is a bit premature. More how you were going to set them up. One hint, in your installation I would play the SLS as low as you can. (only figure this out by testing) You could ahead of time probably pick a high point for them at around 200hz The mid then you will need to determine how low it can play and where it blends best. This will probably be somewhere around 300hz, but really can't tell without hearing them in their installed space. I would then see how high you can get them to play. Then I'd add the tweeter. Of course this will all really depend on your mounting locations. The more on axis and the higher they are in your install, the higher in frequency I'd have them play. Where are they being mounted and how?

The rear end reminds me a bit of a Hyundai. Not something I'd want out of a vehicle like that. It is terrible. Rim & tire package in particular

Even that is too high. What processing are you going to use and how do you plan to choose your settings? Look at the FR and harmonic distortion and decide for yourself. Nearly no breakup. 3rd order harmonic distortion isn't the best but it's pretty good (and it drops above 2k). 2500hz is probably the best match for a decent tweeter, but you could easily run them higher imho. In practice, I wouldn't. Conveniently you can easily underlap the transition from the mid to the tweeter though so it really doesn't matter. It has nothing to do with effing the back seat. People sitting in my rear seat regularly ask what I have for drivers in the back. When I tell them nothing, they always look shocked. Don't even bother connecting them to the deck, they will do nothing positive in your install.

Do yourself a favor and shop at SDS (link in my sig) instead of Second Skin. Better product, better advice, and an owner I respect a ton. Just because you are using a tweeter that will play down to something doesn't mean that the mid plays up to it. In a car underlapping is usually the right solution.

That's Japan. I copped out of China on this trip, managed to make my boss go instead.

speaker cut out
I doubt it. My guess is that his front stage amp is more prone to cutting out due to voltage issues and when the sub is on he has some.
