There is a time to make hay and a time not to. The spot I am in my career I can benefit a lot from putting in extra time. In a couple years it will no longer do me any good, until then I fire away. Just managed to get my raise for next year, and it even shocked me. Company wide no raises, mine is nearly half my wives income. Well worth the extra hours if you ask me. On top of that, my boss just offered to eat the difference on the Cayenne Turbo to make it fit our parameters. Fucking Saweet!!

Considering the price, I'd agree completely. I was just hoping for an alternative as I don't like to recommend Dynamat products, but considering what you will get it is the right solution.

Understood and agreed completely. Still hard everyday. Part of the reason I always multi-task and am on here all the time. If I focus only on what I am "doing" I get pissed off, I need to do 2 things at once all the time.

Matt, we all make bad choices in particular when we are young. Sounds to me like you didn't have the guidance you needed which really sucks. This is the whole problem in our society if you ask me, we do not as a whole want others to succeed and help them to do so. All this talk of education reform and spending dollars on schools is a complete waste if we can't motivate the teachers to want EVERY child to succeed. This should be step one. Our upbringing sounds similar, except I was sheltered in Moorhead where teachers actually gave a shit. I was pushed in school to apply to Ivy league schools and offered recommendations to help me get in. Some of the staff were bummed when I chose to stay in MN and go to Carleton instead of Darmouth, Yale, or Brown but the difference in financial aid was amazing leaving me no choice since I had to pay for everything myself.

If this is only for music, I'd use all the space you have. If it is for HT, then I'd go bigger than you have space for.

What size are the sealed enclosures going to be? Have you tested how the Mli's sound in a sealed box in your truck with the same size enclosure? I'd do both before deciding on whether or not to "vent" it into the door skin and where to spend money on deadening.

If you have a stiff enough baffle you mount it to, shaving 2.5mm off each side could be acceptable. Will it affect performance? That will depend on how you finish of the rest of the install.
