The pan NEEDS water in it at all times otherwise your tasting drippings will burn. Elevating the veggies will let them roast instead of boil. You can boil the water off on the stove later and reduce the yummies. A turkey baster works as a fat sucker so you can do it in parallel.

BGE baby. The only question is do you use high heat to start/brown it or to finish. WHen you get a whole rib like that, is the cut the "prime rib" but it just has the bones left on it? good call on the BGE. That was my first thought, but wanted to make sure a roasting or braising wasn't better suited. Only a Prime Rib if the meat is Prime. Otherwise it would be a Choice Rib which no one would ever say, they'd still call it a Bone in Prime, but would be wrong. Braising would be a bad idea IMO. That cut shouldn't be cooked beyond mid-rare and doesn't need the extra fat/liquid of a braise. Two schools of thought. Hot first and then cold cook (250ish) or low slow followed by sear. You could also sear in a pan first if you prefer or need to make a pan sauce. If you BGE it I would put a drip tray under the meat and make sure there is water in it so the drippings don't burn. Then you can make a sauce later. Normally I roast a mirepoix in the pan or racked above the liquid at the same time to make the au jus better at the end. PERFECT! thanks for the tip. I never would have thought to put a pan under with mirepoix. WOuld strain after, process fine, or just leave it? I like to blend, depending on how much you use. The other school of thought is to use a ton and get rid of most of the roughage.

I have a tech who is from India and he might be coming over to help me with this wireless thing. Maybe he can help you help them. My sales guy from Texas is a PhD from India and he was trying to help, still didn't work.

Which do you have? BMF 1000D. Was supposed to be good back like 5 years ago. Maybe not. Ok that is newer than what I have. I have the CFA models. Which ones were the CFA's? And my BMF 1000D's ran great for years. I take that back. I've had THREE fail on me. I bought one 5 years ago from an SPL competitor, it failed (figured it had had a hard life). Bought a new used one, it failed last winter. Had it remanufactured, it failed again yesterday. Only amp i've ever had fail. Why would you continue to buy them, lol
  10. I closed this thread. Glad to re-open it if you take the time to write it in a fashion that is legible. Adding question marks in the middle of run-on's does not make a paragraph. Please re-write your first post and I'll put it back in the thread and re-open it.
  11. Have you ever owned bose m5? just out of curiosity. I've had three roomates who did, I have done consulting work for them, and I have demo'd pretty much everything they make. ALWAYS a rip off. Even including their headphones. So yep. Have you ever owned anything worthwhile....oh, obviously not otherwise you wouldn't have thrown up that opinion earlier.

Fuck, I have a bit more than that and it is at about 30 degrees (yeah exaggeration, but no way in hell even with a snowblower). Every time it snows, $40. do you use a service to have them do it Sean? I'm just a few nudges left of buying a posi track... Yep, some dudes from near St Cloud actually.

It was 12 here, but it doesn't feel cold. Something about the snow is extremely soothing. I really wish I felt 100%, I'd blow the day off and go hit the trails.
  19. ROFL. Blose sucks my left nut. Terrible for the money. TERRIBLE.
