Just misunderstood who you were directing it at. To clarify, you can hook up any microphone and power supply up to any meter. They all have a sensitivity of xmV/dB(or Pa) which means that they output a voltage which can be read by a voltage meter. Considering this you could even use a mic that has a weighted output since by default when you subtract you will be normalizing the response and measuring cabin gain.

Hanapi obviously you are very confused at the difference between what amps your electrical system can supply and what your stereo will supply. They are two very different things. Amplifiers are not all that efficient. On top of that your amp is already a bit over rated, plus citing anything in Peak watts is absurd. At best, with everything being perfect on both your amps you'd be lucky to see 4500w. Either way, the reason your alt failed is either it was connected incorrectly (which from the posts above sounds like a strong possibility) or it was faulty from the beginning.

I always have it in low fi so i refresh it on the manual tip mang. To bright for me I use the dark skin. If you have the recent topic pane open it use to refresh automatically, but since they did some upgrades the other day it hasn't worked. <--never noticed, but I guess I don't spend much time with just one page open.

get ready for a few days of hell I was out for 5 days. 10 hours of sleep each day. I usually only need ~6. My wife was hit so bad it agrivated an injury and she was asked to do an MRI. My wife doesn't do MRI's. I've never seen her have a fear based attack berfore, I felt helpless. I can deal with being sick, I can't deal with being helpless. Sound Quality category? No, but neither is ANYTHING else the OP is looking at. There is NO reason the L7 can't sound clean. He did mention he was looking at the flatlyne. Is that not IA's "sq woofer"? Granted the enclosure isn't correct, but i was refering to if he were to purchase a new woofer. It might be theirs, but it wouldn't fit into a true SQ category if that is really the goal. I am sure the OP isn't interested in that anyways.
