    pork the one you love
  2. It is really NOT a good idea to have so many tweeters. 2 is all you should use. Rear fill in a Silvy is a joke...and yes I know I have one. When people ride in my back seat they regularly ask me what I have for front speakers followed by the rears. They always crap when I say none, but its true and it sounds WAY better.
  3. Those are REALLY spendy for just midbasses. I'd think about focusing your $$ on the install instead. In a 3 way there is no reason to cross the tweet at 2800Hz, counter productive if you ask me. What are your mounting locations and your plan? We really need to know this before offering drivers.

that and a large part of it was fluff to begin with That is exactly what I said a few weeks ago in here. And unless the American work/education ethic changes back to being somewhat useful we are well on our way to being a 2nd world country. Come on kiddies, buckle down and do SOMETHING. I believe we are on our way. As we get more college interns in they seem to think that they are just there for the money because they already know everything. SOMETHING= more than just filling a chair and picking up a check! I see it getting worse, I also think the whole socialist propaganda that Obama is pushing is going to further make it worse. Why try when you get everything you need handed to you.

  6. wtf, more egurgitation Dying technology? That is why you won't buy something with a superior picture, better blacks, more vivid colors, faster response? Because manufacturers make more money on other tech's? Do you know why Pio engineers left and went to Panny? Perhaps because Pio isn't going to sell Plasma displays or any TV's anymore for that matter. In his price range the Panny Plasma really is a GREAT solution. Everything in your post is full of crap basically other than the 720p is cheaper than 1080p and don't go to a retailer as you will get jacked on price. Besides that your post is FULL of fail. I realize you like to be helpful and that is great, but you REALLY, REALLY need to think occasionally instead of just posting what you read somewhere else.

    Free wood comes with it.
  15. you know better, "keep up" is not a valid description to get you a worthwhile answer. If it is truly to keep up expect to spend more on your front stage than your sub/s
  16. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Nope. For that reason it IS the choice.

  22. And as stated in PM's and in your thread, the FIRST step in choosing a subwoofer is defining EXACTLY how much space you have for a box. It is pointless to discuss options before then as you could make a very uninformed decision that could be terrible for your space.
  23. Las Vegas Nevada I thought it was funny that he told him it was a Chinese company and that it doesn't have good sound quality when it's made in Las Vegas and is a sound quality sub. What is even funnier though is talking about Sound Quality WITHOUT discussing a front stage. The sub isn't a very big piece of the puzzle if that is truly your goal. You need to spend WAY more time and money on the fronts for SQ. Perhaps a discussion of what is going up front would help. Most likely you won't need anywhere near 1000w to keep up, so either amp the gains would be near minimum. I'd sell the Hifonics junk though.
