I wouldn't lean towards matching anything to the AQ, it's a budget amp. A pair of Rlp 15's in a monster size box will really get you in the lows.

V8, Premium Pkg, Tow package (never used ), Rear seat entertainment. Everything except the Dynaudio ( ) and no Navigation. The wife never drives where she doesn't know where she is anyway. Now that we have another tow vehicle I may be pulling the stereo out of the truck.

How would a ported box cost you 4x as much? I can see needing an extra $20 piece of mdf but not 4x.

Always for the sub, not your car. Longer port equals lower tuning, if you have it external you can cut pieces off of it until you find the sweet spot. If you use PVC you can have a joint and a bunch of different pieces to plug into the joint. The whole port doesn't have to be external just make sure that the highest tuning is achievable by what is in/not in the box.

Every car is different. You are going to have to try a few. I'd start with near the max box volume and an adjustable port to dial it in.
