Welcome to the IHoP
I'd like an H701, but no need for a headunit right now. My next "install" will be in a Pantera. Ways away though and all my non-driver gear will be sold by then. That car will get small amps of some sort.

Best fasteners for high SPL builds
Wood glue is significantly better at bonding mdf than Liquid Nails. Test the two in the same conditions and you won't use LN again.

~3000W Class A/B or high dampening factor
Why do you think this is amplifier related?

Hell-Razor's Build Log
Wow, you really get some bad advice from people. Amazing what happens when you don't take the time to ask the right questions. Cold, water, and your wire will NOT = bye bye electronics. Only an electrical short will do something and that will just blow your fuse...unless you have some idiot help you with your fuse in which case you will just burn your car down instead. RCA's can be run right on top of your power wire and your ground for that matter. In fact good luck running it not right on your ground. Considering the equipment list you have, $400 is pretty cheap. Considering the questions and advice you get, I'd say you should spend it. Either that or allocate more than a week and do a lot more research first. (starts with searching)

Foam sub box lining affecting tuning?
Personally I'd shop at SDS at not Second Skin. Better advice, super high quality product, and the owner is a helpful part of this forum even though he doesn't have a sub-forum. I am confused a bit by your other goals. A sealed box will NOT be as loud. No way, no how. I really don't think you are a Q buyer at all either, but I am making assumptions from some of the posts here but I do think they are better ones than others are making. What are you trying to accomplish? What is your current box size and tuning? How did you set your gains...etc. That info and what you don't like will really help.

Just remember, "Hey Benedeco's!" means very good friends. /quote

Hifonics OLM Subs ?
Why even look at a poopfonics product? There are much better options out there I am sure. (have to assume as I haven't seen the woofers yet, but I bet performance for $ it would be easy to beat them)

? Seriously, Liquid Nails to hold an enclosure together? NO. Wood glue ftw. A properly glued joint with tight bond will be stronger than the rest of the box. No screws, no brads, nothing else is required for the joints. Of course that assumes you do it properly, but it is all that is necessary. Liq Nails is terrible for this btw.

Not like he is doing much. I paid WAY too much for him in our dynasty a couple years back.

Couldnt agree more.............The only thing that pisses me off more (no offense to anyone) is the "Parents with children or infants" parking. I parked there got out and had some mom with her lil kid flip on me for it. I told her I have a kid...........just not with me. J meh, I park in the back of the lot. Not to avoid other cars mind you I just despise the whole "i need to park fucking close because I am a lazy fat ass" mentality. omg i'm so glad i'm not the only person that does that. people that will sit in their car for 15min and wait for someone to leave rather than walk 10' is the best, happy heart attack fatasses. I usually park near the back of the lot, and if someone in a super nice car parked like a jackass I always park beside them (ok ok this was with stratusfaction). I understand you have a nice car, that does not mean you deserve multiple parking spots, i'm sorry but it fucks with my OCD and parking 3" away from your drivers door because i managed to actually fit in that next spot is so fucking satisfying. I also do the same. If they are only in one spot I leave them plenty of room though.

And not realists. They all have big ideas on how to make things better, but 95% of the time it just screws it up worse. Plus too many want to hold people's hand, forgive them of their wrongs, and help them out. Dammit they made those bad decisions. Let them reap the consequences. You just described pretty much every liberal I know

not implying you have that mentality J, when rock star parking is obvious I'd grab it then to

Not sure I can handle that nose. IMO almost no reason to have truck based chassis's outside of trucks. Not like people use their truck based crossovers here for what they were "designed" to do

Foam sub box lining affecting tuning?
If you have monster roof flex you are going to need to add more than a layer of deadening. Mounting an mdf substructure would help a ton. oh, and 2 layers won't be a solution then either.

Smart config for SQ using Mmats D3500.5 amp
IB is not free air. And clean & tight for sure, better than any other alignment. You'll have to have your gains near off though.

Smart config for SQ using Mmats D3500.5 amp
You don't need anywhere near that power for SQ. Skip the box, run IB, and worry mostly about your front stage.

SSD 12 or 18?
Yes I do. There isn't really anything else I'm fitting in the car. Plus, my box probably won't be 10cuft. Probably 7 or so. 7cuft + wood + sub + port is going to be at least 10cuft
