<-- has never applied for a job I haven't gotten. Which is exactly why I should go apply for something new, only to shoot the moon. Someone encourage me. Double dog dare you. Find one for me to apply to General Dynamics, Dell and Lockheed are looking for senior positions to fill down here in TX know if they're looking for any entry level positions? All the time Texas Instruments too Especially if you're an engineer; practically every company from every field are looking for engineers down here in Texas That's beacause if you aren't from Texas you don't want to live there

2nd one from the front, driver's side Thanks, figured they counted differently than what I was used to. Time to pull the plug. all SBCs are odd numbers on the drivers side, even on the passengers, counting from the front if it hasn't been done, plugs/wires would probably be a good idea Hasn't been done, but being for sale it might just get one plug. Could be a mucky injector I suppose, haven't bothered to look or worry about it as it is pretty intermiddent. Hmm, mucky injector = time for an italian tune-up ? Italian tune up? Isn't that a rebuild? It's not a rebuild : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_tuneup I'd never heard the term before, but considering how reliable Itlaian cars are I thought my guess was appropriate.

Ever see them refuel a nuclear reactor? That's what they're doing here right now; refueling and maintenance Will be nice when they get the two new reactors in, then my parents can sell this house and retire up by the rest of our family... I'll be at Sandia National labs today and tomorrow and Los Alamos on Wednesday. The home of the nukes.

I tend to agree, the companies in dollars I cited aren't very large. $100M should be less than 250 people with a breakdown of 50 engineers/software, 50 office staff/production, and the rest in sales. I completely misread your initial post; honestly don't know what I read it as...maybe 10-100B or something...try checking out http://www.theladders.com/ just for shits and giggles would be my recommendation... why am I quoting you? cuz I am going to bed, i'll look at the link tomorrow. g'night! off to NM in the AM.

Was at a plant doing isothermal forging last Thursday, that also was really cool.

Not saying it isn't correct, but I can tell you what they'd say at my customers. The surely wouldn't call a TiG/MIG a machine unless there was a robot connected to it.
  13. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Welding machine to me implies automation, ie you aren't the one doing the welding.
  14. Under $1500 including nearly $500 in deadening. I'd call that simple. Yes 16 bands left and 16 right, 1000% necessary in my truck. Stupid Chevrolet. However, to keep this on topic I guarantee with a cheap amp, the stock headunit, and whatever speakers I choose for the same budget as your headunit and speakers it will sound WAY better my way. And since you like terms, have way better SQ. Listen to a car amp with the 12ax7's once and you won't do what you are doing.

I do dealings with those people occasionally. They are getting masters in engineering. That's something else I wish I could fit into my resume. "Actually knows how to use a welding machine." welding "machine" ?

lol. the barrier thread amused me. he turns the corner into agreeing with the opposite of what he said earlier really easy, but I know later he'll say what he said before.

Find one for me to apply to General Dynamics, Dell and Lockheed are looking for senior positions to fill down here in TX They are all too big to hand me the whole reigns. My next step I want to make all the decisions I want as I am sick of idiots slowing me down. I might eat my own words but I am okay with that. If you are like me, or rather myself like you, I bet you get revved up at the thought of slicing through stagnant issues and shitty ethics and pulling forward a dieing buisness model. I stay awake thinking about that, especially if I have had some cocktails.... I am on a 6pack of beer and half a bottle of wine right now, and if it weren't for SSA I'd be scheming for work as the W is already asleep

I'm at a point in my life where yes i would miss my wife, but I would RELISH the travel. I love planes, I love airports, I love the motion and the constant sense of being aware and how connected I feel with the whole population when ever I travel. Maybe not forever, but when I was cut, that particular mold was also put out and it's a great match. My wife may think differently though. I bet mini me at home makes it tough too! Travel is fun at first, but eentually you get sick of it.
  21. You don't want a tube amp for a car, it won't help anything other than shrinking your pocketbook prematurely. My front stage is simple. Seas CA18rnx in the doors, LPG 25nfa right above them, a Pio 880prs providing active crossovers and 16 independent L/R eq bands (L/R critical in my install), a 12" prototype IXL, a couple amps and a ton of deadening and acoustic treatments.
  22. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Is the install for the 880 related to the tile saw? *excited*

I didn't see any walkers or canes when I was up at your house, did you hide them that well? Definitely
