That's true. Do they in the drunk tank too? Maybe he's just in holding and they gave him a cash cab style phone a friend. Even in detox. Perhaps he needs some help with the walk of shame.

Welcome to the IHoP
No that has to come later. I HAVE to sell my car, motorcycle, and wives car first. She gets a car before I do, mostly because I am more confident in selling her car than mine right now being awd. As soon as she gets something that can tow the boat, I will sell my truck. Then we have someone vault the garage ceiling, I shop for a lift, and then the Pantera can come. Considering it's Oct in MN, now wouldn't be the best time anyways. My guess is spring 2011 is my target to be driving it date.

Am i wrong here?
So for the poster on the other site with a Crower stage 3 wanting a little more out of his headunit you truly think this is the case? Let's look at this objectively. That car is going to have a noise floor in the 85dB range. In order to have ANY acoustic separation you need to be 10dB > than the background noise. This puts us at 95dB which will be a level that is not "more" per his request, but either way we'll use it. A normal set of speakers is around 88dB efficient. To reach 95dB we will need to be putting >4w to the speakers to get them there. So at this "low" volume you really think that a h/u will sound just like an amplifier? Obviously not. Go to Best Buy and listen to a $200 boombox at 4w and then listen to a $200 amp at 4w and tell me there is no difference. No where did I even come close to saying that there would be NO improvement with a different source, just that it fundamentally isn't the reason for sounding bad. The amplifiers in h/u's are a complete joke, and this isn't at all about output but about quality. Dynamic capability, headroom, components that don't color the sound, and a decent power supply are all required for "SQ" but with your experience this should really be obvious to you already...that is unless you've never done a comparison and are blindly recommending what you have and not what you have experienced. Eggy may not understand, but at least he is trying to by actually reading things from people that do. I can't say the same about you.

Zapco vs. Arc vs. Zuki vs. US Amps
Considering the dumb ass questions Zuki has asked all over the web I am very dubious of his designs. I realize it is all outsourced/copies, but between the asinine comments and the ridiculous ratings I have absolutely no interest. It doesn't mean you have to share my feelings, but it isn't the sort of person that I want to promote to be successful in this industry. As a completely opposite example, I noticed you have left off Mantz's products from your list which also should be included.

SSD power handling unusual situation
Don't trust the "clipping circuit" too much, but either way your ears will tell you when your subs are in trouble...if they get there. In a large low tuned box you could get them to really wallop and sound great doing it if you have some space.

save up your money and spend it in the spring on car audio thats what im doing!! ehh money isn't an issue. Neither is car audio. I'm happy with what I have and have absolutely no plans to buy anything. I think I've bought one thing in the last 4 years, and that was a sub. But it was only in my car for about 8 months before I put my old sub setup back in. Car audio just isn't very high on the list when you're saving up to buy a house. And MOST definitely shouldn't be

Your comments are funny. You keep talking about "noise" and that you will just amplify it. Where do you think this noise comes from? Only three real places: either the pre-amp stage, the d/a's or the amplifier itself. Today's d/a's are pretty much all fine and it is really easy to make a cheap pre-amp stage that sounds decent as you don't need a ton of gain. Use a laptop as an analogy. Your music can sound pretty good playing with the built in soundcard which utilizes a chip that costs the manufacturer a nickel maybe. A cheap headunit regularly is of better quality of this even including OEM stock units. So where is this nasty noise coming from then? Definitely the part of the circuit that is the MOST expensive to build which is the amplifier. For instance the power supply on a cheap off board amplifier will still cost more than the whole amplifier in a headunit. Headunit amplifier is an oxymoron. If you truly believe this is real power, I am thoroughly amused. Component parts are chosen regularly to meet a price point and pretend to be a spec. 19w is a joke and not in the amount of power but the joke is that they got you to believe it. No where anywhere did I say "louder=better", but I will guarantee for the OP in the thread on Hondatech that he will listen to his stereo turned up (sole reason he is getting it as he wants more) which means that poor h/u "amplifier" will be creating mad noise instead of doing what it is supposed to and that is amplify the signal off the pre-amp. I suppose you will tell us next how headroom won't improve the sound and it is unnecessary as well as it would fit right into your argument.
