Questions About Drivers for Laptop
Just download what you need, put them in a place that you can find and reboot. The pc will "find" new hardware in which case you just point it at the drivers.

Very specific sub request... LOUD SQ WALL <$900 (shipped)?
Out of curiosity, explain M5? QL=leakage, box losses. Just another factor that is considered when you are building a ported enclosure.

<-- has been to 3-5 movies in the past 10 years <-- probably watched 5/yr on tv <-- doesn't like any sort of pop culture as IMO it all sucks *doesn't mean I am not open to things others find amusing, as long as I respect those others.

Well before the shows and the movies there was the role playing game. Real familiar with that. *hides*

Welcome to the IHoP
I think a Pantera will scream pull me over in any color so I thought maybe red was okay. Black is probably what I'll hold out for. In particular with an old car if the black paint looks good, I won't be as concerned about body rot as it is damn hard to get a black car to look good.

Hadn't heard that in particular about the V10. VW Certified isn't as nice as Porsche's either

Welcome to the IHoP
A car that can easily hang with Italian exotics for under $50k? Seems cheap to me. And I realize it was listed at $36 so I'd buy it for $32, but knowing myself $18k in mods isn't out of the realm of reality.

Welcome to the IHoP
The "newer" Pantera's actually came with W style blocks even. Obviously easy to put one in. I'd have a hard time not spending the money on an aluminum replacement for that car. 3120lbs stock is light, but why not make that a bit better.

I might be screwed out of the Cayenne....at least the Turbo. Fuckers didn't make them in 2007 which means that the era I can afford to lease for work in Turbo form no longer exists. I waited too long on the 06's and now I have to go to an 08. This means either I wait a while and do that or look at other options. My guess is the V10TDI >> non-Turbo Cayenne, but I have yet to drive it. That is why I started looking. Plus for towing my boat and sled-trailer the V10 would be fun.

I know nothing of the seals on the 911's. I do know that they are a bit of a bitch to work on though. Worst of the Porsche's for accessibility. I can add one other thing. In Germany Porsche's legacy isn't only performance, but the fact that they are the most reliable and longest lasting German cars. Sure you pay a bit to keep them up, but they mechanically never seem to come to an end.

If it were today, I'd lean on this one. http://www.pim.net/8282008RP.html Go back on forth between black, white & red though

Quick opiniated question
Except even if you compare the BTL with any other Fi sub at only 1000w it will still be the loudest. Stock electrical is your limiting factor. I wouldn't really go above 1kW unless you beef it up and a battery isn't what I call beefing it up.

Am i wrong here?
Quotes from Honda Tech: Lots of wrong here. The longer wires do not add more noise, not that you are going to hear. Hell unless you have some ridiculous measurement gear you aren't even going to be able to measure it. If you can't measure an LCR difference you most definitely can't hear it. Dirty signal amplified will also be dirty indeed. However, a dirty signal amplified by a crappy h/u amp will be exaggerated and made worse. Even though his h/u is junk, it has a "claimed" 80dB of SNR which is fine. Also, good luck finding an d/a chip today that isn't better than what was available 10 years ago even in a budget h/u. Considering I wouldn't worry so much about the junk h/u on a limited budget. It may suck, but the amps in a great headunit will still be noisier than the d/a in that crappy one. Which means an amp and speakers is a better solution than a new h/u. If you left out the word install in the second sentence it would be really wrong. Indeed install is 90% of the whole sound anyway. That being said again on a limited budget putting it into an amp, speakers and deadening is the key. No way in this case would I offer to replace the h/u. Low budget screams install, amp, and speakers.

As long as you've adjusted for the QL it will be fine.
