Welcome to the IHoP
Who is it that you speak of? I shouldn't have used captain, gives negative connotations to the true captain. This one is the one who copy's what other cats make

Spending the extra money on a sunroof for a civic doesn't make sense. Of course neither does the civic.

Welcome to the IHoP
Well my wife's old one was a trusty little car that was cheap to keep on the road. In a time when I don't have the pockets to swing a used 3 series wagon that I want, something small like that would be nice. Beyond a total PITA to put Arthur's car seat in and out of the sled. Plus, because the seat is one of the uber safe huge car seats, he sits up a little high so I cannot put the passenger seat back. So a little 4door is badly needed. If I did not catch so much heat from the wife for keeping it, I would have fixed the explorer to cart junior around for a little while longer until I can get a 4door. Just real quick imagine what I look like sitting in that car. It may be American designed, but not for us normal sized Americans. That's assuming you are a normal sized American...which I doubt highly... I am normal, there are just an awful lot of short people around me all the time.

Q. how to know the appearance of fully loaded or not.
What does the seller claim it has? Why would you doubt him? Are there options you really need?

Active setup
The 9887 will convert the front/rear outputs to midrange/tweeter no need for an RCA splitter. Imprint isn't something I am keen on, but the 9887 can surely do an active setup.

Searching for subwoofers
If you truly want an SQ system with a lot of output you need to change your front speakers first. Next will come dampening, then foam, then an MLV or lead layer. Next thing to pick is processing. What you have now won't cut it. Based on those steps you can pick your front stage. After all that is said and done you can then start to discuss subs, until then it is pointless if you truly want an SQ system.

Posting on here and PG at the same time. PG?

Fi Q or alpine type x?
Why are you limiting it to those two drivers? In particular since they aren't all that similar.

What subs would be best?
What sort of comp, what class, is your sole goal to win, what do you mean by daily.... You really are good at asking what product and not so good at stating why we would lean towards anything for you. Size ain't shit, implementation and utilization is.
