Welcome to the IHoP
It's a fun way to make some money. My college roomate (Eastern Religion Major) is now just a professional bartender and turns more than $100k/yr...of which a good $50k isn't taxed.

Welcome to the IHoP
The days of no house payment were exciting, although I rather like my house.

60k out of high school is doable, but it involves an ungodly amount of back breaking and/or life threatening labor and no less than 110% commitment. Main reason I went to college, I 'spose... Actually I made more than that working part time while going to college right out of high school. You just need to tend bar

What to use with Image Dynamics Horns?
You have some trade-offs to make. If you are willing to forego a little midbass and turn up your subs go with a pro audio solution. B&C's are usually a good call here. If you are willing to run a 3 way, I'd run something like the Peerless SLS as a midbass but it falls down above 200Hz and will need a mid. If a compromise between the two is where you'd like to be the Seas CA22 or CA26 can be pretty impressive midbass wise and still play up to where you need it to. I am a little concerned with overall output considering you would be using 2 mids with 4 big arse subs, but when you weren't wailing this would be the solution that sounded the best. Some drivers I haven't seen held or tested that might be of interest would be the CSS Trio 8 (not quite sure on how high it will play but it should be higher than the Peerless) and the Dayton RSS210HF which can play high enough. Both are probably the best solutions here considering your goals, but I haven't played with either and neither will be real efficient.

Introducing Supergauss
Just have to add, every time I see the thread pop up I read it as: Introducing SuperGas and wonder what I have to eat to get it....err, what I already ate perhaps. The driver looks impressive though.

never tried that either. sounds pretty wild though. Is them thar fish good eatin? Or just fun to catch? You don't eat bones, but redfish are outstanding. Amusingly a lot like a freshwater fish though.

Welcome to the IHoP
I love brackish water fishing. Nothing is more fun than a red or a bone in 10" of water. I can hear the drag screaming now!

Welcome to the IHoP
That sounds funn. did u go out on your boat? I bet that thing hauls like none other when it comes to outright speed. I was limping yesterday. I showed a good friend how to lift properly. I did squats for the first time in a long time. My numbers were pathetic. From what he said he sounded like he hurt worse. In my prime I coulda been a contender..... for state, probably not nationals. Went behind my bro-in-laws buddies. Mine will definitely go fast enough though, I haven't broken 80mph but have been north of 79. Had I not been running half gas and full gear perhaps it would have eeked the rest.

Welcome to the IHoP
I usually fish bass, but don't eat them. Not much of a meat fisherman although I am not opposed to chomping down on some walleye, northern, or sunnies.

The B&C's are more of a midrange, getting much out of them below 150hz isn't going to happen. Great drivers and would be something I'd definitely recommend if you stated your goals differently, you really need a sub that can reach up higher...which also means you are going to need power as you will give up efficiency. Realistically since you want it loud it is probably a better trade-off to use something like the B&C's, but that won't satisfy your midbass desire. Depending on your enclosure though I bet you can work the Xcon's up further.

Welcome to the IHoP
where were you? Maplewood state park i would love to get a line in the water. its been 5 years or more. I grew up fishing on lake sylvia(which one right) where my grmps had a cabin. Some of my fondest memories are from there, fishing with muh Gpaw. Fishing is spiritual almost. I never had anything but a row boat and a craptaskic openface and one closed when i was verry young. Its some kind of relaxing though. Anything in particular you prefer to fish for? I could fish EVERYDAY.

Best use of ~4cu and 1200 watts?
I don't agree on the quality statement. They are one of a couple mainstream brands IMO that still do what they promise to do. Either way tons of other options to buy, but the reason I asked is that I'd bet the "musical" promise was more box related than the L7's fault.

If he would cross his subs higher and wasn't a midbass fiend I'd agree completely.
