Dear employee: As the CEO of this organization, I have resigned myself to the fact that Barrack Obama is our President and that our taxes and government fees will increase in a BIG way. To compensate for these increases, our prices would have to increase by about 10%. But, since we cannot increase our prices right now due to the dismal state of the economy, we will have to lay off sixty of our employees instead. This has really been bothering me, since I believe we are family here and I didn't know how to choose who would have to go. So, this is what I did. I walked through our parking lots and found sixty 'Obama' bumper stickers on our employees' cars and have decided these folks will be the ones to let go. I can't think of a more fair way to approach this problem. They voted for change...... I gave it to them. I will see the rest of you at the annual company picnic. Regards, The Boss

Here are a few tidbits (all with exceptions of course): -I'd never use 24dB slopes on my front stage, try 6 or 12 -I'd never cross my tweeter and mid at the same frequency. Instead you need to underlap them -I've never run all four drivers (2way) on the same phase -It is always best to listen to one mid and peg its limits, then one tweet and peg its limits. You cannot hear what you need to when everything is going -Only use cuts on your EQ, not boost -When starting with the tweet, keep in mind that 2x the Fs is probably as low as you want to go....unless of course your mid forces you two. This would cause an exception to the first tidbit -Use your ears -- fuck other people it is your system -Less is more when it comes to the eq. Some warble tones to find hotspots in your FR is helpful. Oh as for your 24dB+24dB setting. It will give you a crossover with some serious phase delay and a slope of somewhere between 24 and 48dB depending on how symmetrical they are.
