I realize what the term means, but was wondering what sort of companies have you manage what sort of people for that position ie, what are you searching for other than the title.

Isn't entry level management an oxymoron? If you have no experience I am not sure how you can manage. "Entry Level Management" is a blanket term for jobs that are (usually) at the lower-level management level What sort of jobs fit that blanket term? This is a little far back for it to be my realm and my progression has been far from the standard linear one.

3 baby coons tore shit up including walking all over the M and the Audi. I really hope I don't have to make two insurance claims in a matter of weeks. I need to clean her up and see, but since I threw my back out earlier this week I am not going to.

And at 6am awoke to noises in the garage

So my brother scared a big ass raccoon out of my garage last night. The coon was pissed and growled at him. I then proceeded to close the garage door.

Summer nats next week in MN. Josh's car has a reserved spot. Supposedly the paint is "done" If I go there will be pics. I have been avoiding seeing cars I want lately as I can't afford the time to do what I need Otherwise last week I may have gone and seen (and probably bought) this: http://www.pim.net/TinMan.html I did not know you were a pantera guy. Can you fit in one, I don't think I have ever seen on in person. I've been a Pantera guy since the mid 80's. I don't fit in stock ones, but have sat in a few that I fit in no problems.

are you against pro amps? Not for my other subs, but this one I'd prefer a plate as it is for the living room not the theater room. Makes sense And I should add that I am an idiot and didn't run speaker wire to where the stereo is so the amp has to be next to the sub. The dumb part is that I thought I had. I ran a 16/4 and a 14/4, but in reality I ran two 16/2's (the rear surrounds are right there as well)

  9. If you don't know the differences of the boxes your implementation of the bandpass won't be beneficial.
  10. Why put it in a car, buy an SUV or a truck.. lol.. Too big for an SUV. Perhaps you should design one for those two drivers real fast.

I always buy the one that Microcenter has the rebate that is just as much as the price of the router. These days they are all plenty fast for surfing.

    Your links are broken
  13. A box redesign could net you more than a woofer swap.
  14. I'd definitely take a Kicker well before an AQ. Not Sundown all the time, but I'd personally never own an AQ so when those were the two choices plopped up it is rather a no brainer.
  15. Seems logical, I'd finish the box plans before ordering though.
  16. The Fs on the 10" is 33.6Hz, it would be absurd to port them that low. If you want an enclosure ported that low it is fine but you really should look for a woofer designed for it. Makes no sense at all.
  17. It'll be pretty close with the 1" approximation and luckily the crossover isn't affected by what you do on the bottom end. If you are within a few Hz it should be fine.

I'd be happy to take his money.
  19. Sundown >>>>> AQ Other option is used.
  20. Terrible recommendation. If someone asks for loud they really want the BL in the Fi line. There is a huge misconception that Sound Quality means "sounds good" which of course by nature it does, but at the expense of loud. A smooth frequency response has no peaks which means that you are leaving many dB's on the table. When a poster requests loud more than 99% of the time the peakiness of a ported sub like the BL will still sound good and regularly would sound much better than a Q in an ideal enclosure to them.
  21. If you have to ask the question then for sure build a ported box.
  22. The heat should never touch the solder. You need to heat the junction and when it is warm enough touch the solder to it and then it will be soldered well. 140w will never be enough for 1/0 though. A table vise is what I would use for 1/0 as I wouldn't spend $70 on the special tool pictured earlier.
  23. 30Hz is too low for the CVX's not at all what they were designed for. 26 is absurd and leaving a ton of output on the table and gains no benefit in the FR. Considering you want it to shake, I'd tune those in the range of 35-38Hz.

Considering you want to work in the industry and you've been here as long as you have, you KNOW that "half gain" is NOT a valid setting. Also stating the crossover at 50 isn't very descriptive. Sounds to me also like you guys are walloping on that sub. Classic case where a BL might have been a better choice and that the setup could very well be at fault.

If I were still on the plane I'd take a pic for you Tom.
