If the 750 was causing a single battery to go into low voltage your gains were whacked. The yellow top was NOT the cause. And if your question is still can you use the SSD in the pre-fab, of course you can but it won't work well most likely. If you really want to know perhaps you should post some specs on the actual box.

Really, really, really simple. The specs for the box is on Fi's website, you MUST follow it otherwise you are wasting your money and should buy a smaller driver as you don't have enough space.

Your heatsink won't fail with high heat btw and has many other factors that regulate its temperature besides just the extra heat from the amp. Not sure why you'd have to pop your trunk to use a DMM if you are willing to run a wire for that gauge.
