It was a tension set diamond in a titanium band. Basically a gap in the ring that is spread a little ways that I had a diamond plopped in the middle of. Needless to say that gap opened up a bit as a bunch of my skin popped through it. The diamond was small and not really worth that much so nothing at all like a solitaire. was it from studio vincent? No, I had someone make it custom for me off the internet. Came from Canada somewhere.

My dad almost had his arm ripped off when his shirt sleeve got caught in a grain auger. Luckily the shirt just ripped off and he only had a few cuts and bruises. My stepdad had a finger torn off when it got caught in a chain in a hay baler. Farm accidents happen. Your dad is definitely lucky on that one. A local guy around home had his finger almost entirely ripped off when he jumped to get off a tractor his wedding band caught and his finger was hanging by a shred of skin, luckily they were able to reattach it for him though. Earlier this week I almost did the same. I went to my buddies house to help him take care of his boat. He didn't tell me it was a 2 5/16" ball and my receiver is locked onto the truck with a 2". Needless to say he doesn't have so many tools so I was trying to get the ball off with a pipe wrench and it slipped *imagine that* I fell backwards hit his boat trailer and got caught by my wedding ring. My finger is a bit mangled, bruised, and the diamond from my ring is somewhere in his yard, but there should be no long lasting effects other than I will where the ring less. I have always hated jewelry and just confirmed why.

Travis' (Tmax) dad said he thought that much better batteries were going to be the next big technology break through. It would be awesome to have electric vehicles... as long as I can keep my gas hog We are working with a few companies that are using motion to make their own energy. No batteries required

    Cover a big room?
  15. I wouldn't use that amp with that sub ported at 25Hz. Only choices are to give up output and tune lower or go sealed.

    Get a job
  18. Perhaps a different set of 12's that will let you use the 6ft you allocated to the 15's. What is your max space? Budget? Goals?
  19. Which amp? It needs a serious subsonic if you tune that high otherwise movies are going to make that thing destructively unload. If those are really your goals, buying a bigger sub selling yours and running sealed will give you a way better response. A 12 isn't really "big enough" for HT in the first place, then putting it in a highly tuned box will kill it if you throw any power on it.

A well designed port of either type will not make any port noise.

Welfare Poem ... I cross ocean, poor and broke, Take bus, see employment folk. Nice man treat me good in there, Say I need to see welfare. Welfare say, 'You come no more, We send cash right to your door.' Welfare checks, they make you wealthy, Medicaid it keep you healthy! By and by, I get plenty money, Thanks to you, American dummy. Write to friends in motherland, Tell them 'come fast as you can.' They come in turbans and Ford trucks, I buy big house with welfare bucks They come here, we live together, More welfare checks, it gets better! Fourteen families, they moving in, But neighbor's patience wearing thin. Finally, white guy moves away, Now I buy his house, and then I say, 'Find more aliens for house to rent.' And in the yard I put a tent. Send for family they just trash, But they, too, draw the welfare cash! Everything is very good, And soon we own the neighborhood. We have hobby it's called breeding, Welfare pay for baby feeding. Kid's need dentist? Wife's need pills? We get free! We got no bills! American's crazy! He pay all year, To keep welfare running here. We think America darn good place! Too darn good for the white man race. If they no like us, they can scram, Got lots of room in Pakistan .. It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890.00 and each can also get an additional $580.00 in social assistance for a total of$2,470.00 .. This compares very well to a single pensioner who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012.00 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees! Lets send this to all Americans, so we can all be ticked off and maybe we can get the refugees cut back to $1,012.00 and the pensioners up to $2,470 00 and enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 years. Please forward to every American to expose what our elected politicians have been doing over the past 11 years - to the over-taxed American. SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN TAXPAYER YOU KNOW
  24. Considering you want to do both music and HT you could get a larger sub and keep it sealed.
  25. You titled your thread HT, which is short for Home Theater, so perhaps you need to restate your goals. Curious on why you chose the Titanic as well.
