I think it's something like 20-25 f/s. hmm there is some numbers I haven't see yet. I've seen 113.12f/s, 56.56f/s, and now 20-25. See what I am doing is update some of my box calculation sheets with a sort of air speed indicator. It calculates air speed for each frequency from 10Hz to 70Hz in intervals of 2.5, then based on a predetermined number(what I'm trying to figure out) tells me if there is port noise or not. It may be a fruitless effort but it is kinda fun to see/do. That is because it is dependent on the area of the port. Smaller ports chuff at lower velocities.

it's such a horrible system. I started a search when I typed that and it is still going. Aaargh

    I hate Microsuck outlook
  6. Links to said barrier? A fairly thick polyethylene sheet riveted to your door is really easy to work with and easy to remove as even if you can get to the rivets if they are covered in mat, you can still cut the sheet. Of course you could f'glass a removable panel is well, but that is a lot more work with the only real benefit that it is easily removable.
  7. Can you fit a pair of 2's?

Tom, that isn't going to break.

Before that it was high-flo crappers, so I guess it is a step in the right direction. atleast i was somewhat interested in that. the way doo doo runs into our perfectly clean waters can be kind of interesting. on that note, as anyone had first hand experience with the toilets that wash your crack for you when you flush? i can't believe somebody didn't mention putting that in their house! Fancy counter tops > fancy poo hardware. Fixed
  10. As my goal is to get majority of my frequency range to play from my mid, correct? As much of it that will sound good. I wouldn't expect it to be happiest above 200hz and to get nasty at 10kHz, so somewhere in between. You can use a shallow slope on the bottom end HP, but to get it to play high you will need a pretty steep slope to tame the 10kHz breakup or a lower crossover point. The higher you HP is the more power it will take as well so be gentle when you are first listening to it in a broad range before reducing what frequencies you pass to it. Listen to it alone without any other drivers as well as it will make your decisions of where to cross it over much easier.
  11. Both. If you had to, you could use a small format tweeter which buys you a lot of room. Playing with the mounts for the mids first should be your focus.

  15. Then maybe you should have said what you have for a vehicle and that you want to be loud. Before asking I would expect that you would have searched diligently, figured out how much airspace EXACTLY that fits under your seats, what other people have done with your same vehicles, and then give a description of what you want that was detailed. A quick read of the Terms & Conditions of this site that you agreed to when you joined would have made this abundantly clear. Instead you make a completely useless thread that will make it harder for others to search. Please rethink your methods and follow the rules of the forum.
  16. To top it off the question makes no sense. You ask for louder, then have a Q in the list. On top of that it is in a sealed box. Either you don't want loud or you don't get it.
  17. The one that is part of a thread that isn't useless.
  18. why louder and sealed? you need to rethink everything.

I put a link to one. The Toto washlet will make it into my house, but it is going in the Master bath.

Before that it was high-flo crappers, so I guess it is a step in the right direction. So I have a little remodel the house on my mind. I can't ever leave anything I buy normal what would you expect?

I fried one of my burners, when I replace mine remind me and I'll keep them for you if you like. I'd love one right now actually as having two ovens working would help a lot for Easter when I need to feed 30, but oh well I am not spending shit on fixing them as they will be replaced.
  24. Is a 3 too big? Are you planning to mount them on axis?
  25. If you were asking frequency ranges, you should let your ears help there. It will depend on where the 3" doesn't like playing down to and when you are unhappy with its top end. First things first though and that is getting them in at an angle you like them playing. Personally, I'd wait to buy the tweeter until I had the aiming of the midrange down.
