Let me rephrase that though, I will ALWAYS accept good food references. The more real choices the better. I think I am going to break my own personal rules tonight and eat at a chain. PF Changs might be one of the better restaurants here in Wichita, in particular when traveling with a vegetarian. If anyone knew anything better I'd love to know, but my luck down here has been horrible. Had mediocre Thai for lunch, but wtf this will be my last dinner here tho

I'll be there Monday night Well shit, I'm back in Manhattan right now. And I'm in Wichita. God damn the food choices here are terrible. Well shit... But yea, have to agree with you on those food choices. When you headed back to the great white north? Thursday to Lawrence, Friday to MSP Are you going to eat here in Lawrence? Need suggestions on any type of food? I had the itch to blow through LC's on my way up on Thursday and had planned on hitting Wheatfields for breakfast...but am open. Didn't realize you were in Lawrence.
  4. Yea, if I take .4cf away from the box, i can fit the 2 E8's and 2 6.5" Tang Bands in the deck IB. The real question, how much of a difference will a 5.4cf enclosure sound vs a 5.8cf enclosure tuning on both will be around 30hz with 3000rms on the pair of subs? I'd say scrap the extra pairs of drivers and just do the 3 ways up front. Not like you want to buy another H701 so you can actually run them all anyways.

    your welcome?
  6. err, well definitely an issue on here, but so are people who start threads and don't proofread their questions and make sure that they make sense. While I appreciate the goal of your thread, it wasn't executed very well which is nearly as bad as asking a stupid unanswerable question.

The sticky shit on the silverado wouldn't come off with WD-40 or goof off. The pinstripe tool took the residue off fast though. Every other car I have debadged has been easier. Leave it to GM to make the one thing that won't break, what I want to break.
  9. Then you don't need midbass speakers but components.

heat gun and a 3m pinstripe removal tool, just don't get yer shit too hot.

If you call him out, he's going to deny it. Try to ask around and see if anyone knows of anything about it. Have someone he likes go praise him for it and get him to talk about it...perhaps even the ex. At the same time make sure that person records the conversation. With a recorded admittal of guilt not only will you get your shit paid for but the pucker will have a felony on his record which he deserves.

Because its Kansas... There are some really good places to eat in the state, you just have to know where the little hole in the walls are, but there are plenty of 'restaurant in a box' places if you like that (Applebees, Old Chicago, etc, etc), but I can eat those anywhere... The brewery that is in Old Town serves some pretty decent beer I think, but haven't really tried to many restaurants that I could rave about in Wichita, I know the woman realllllllly loves the sushi at Sumo's there in town. Course then in my opinion there is no place to get excellent food here in Manhattan either, all we have is choke-n-pukes and typical chains. I am not so interested in Sushi in a town this blue collar. podunk sushi ftl, great way to get sick. Sort of like average CA sushi...so prevalent the fuckers don't even care if its old anymore

except we have a chance there won't be snow
  15. I'd rather have a 9811, 9813, 9833, 9835, 9887 and many more. Definitely not the best yet. Why would you rather have the 9835,9833,9811, or the 9813....... There the same Type of head with less capabilities... If by less you mean more then okay. WAY more processing power. Alpine without bass engine pro isn't really worth buying IMHO.
  16. It's all about the package...but with an 8" space it is hard to not choose the Peerless SLS as a budget choice that really puts out.

And even though I am travelling with a vegetarian we are going to LC's in KC on Thursday night. I'll have to stop at a second place for him to eat

  22. Two cutout circles of the right size are even better than a ruler Tape them up in the positions you can get them to fit best and snap a pic. It will help clear this up for you as well.
  23. Mostly just looking for the angle that will confirm what sizes can be fit down in the kicks. A big tweet and a 4" isn't exactly a small front stage, but bang for the buck will win.

Since they are so common, please name a good pair. Something worth buying. Good luck.
  25. You're right...... Sean (is that your name? ) However I just wanted to show him that it might not be a bad idea to buy a 3way comp and move to Semi active (or full active) whenever he feels he can tackle it. At first I was using the full passive mode with a US Amps Hybrid Tube... Then went with the Milbert (still in full passive). Only a year ago was I able to design a satisfying system. Tuning happened only 2 weeks ago. Learned so much in the last couple of weeks on DIYmobileaudio forum. Kelvin be wary of what you read on diyma, ever since Ant took over from NP that site has gone to hell in a hand basket. A few troopers on there but more people of useless misinformation. I can't even handle reading it anymore although hidden in the mess there is good information and some good people.
