Woot!! That happened sooner than I expected. The plan is to tear the car apart at the beginning of the summer and have it done by the end of it Josh's might be done by then what's the current status of that? He had to pull the motor 3 different times and finally has that mess worked out. The headliner is in, he is finishing the deadening and window adjustments this weekend. In a couple weeks it goes back to the paint booth to re-do what isn't perfect. And it should be driving on the road here in a few weeks. I gave up helping since it seemed like he would only work when I came over. He finally got over that and attacked it, so it might actually get finished.

Good that you managed a pre-supercharged year otherwise your maintenance bills would make you seriously cry. I've driven a couple of those and definitely know you'll enjoy that car.

Kelvin, if you can t/a different mounting locations that is not passive but active. Using a single bridge of a crossover for two drivers right next to each other would be acceptable but calling it a passive setup isn't really very accurate.

Shizzon is spot on. Regrettably you aren't really a Q buyer and you are using the wrong alignment. Buy the BL's and port them and you will have what you want. most of the time but not always. ive had the gain maxed and had to turn the bass boost up to get full output due to a very weak signal source mp3 player. once i switched the source to a better one bass boost was dropped to 0 and gain lowered to 1/3 to get same output. most signal sources now though wont require any bass boost and wont need to max gains to reach full power. That is still NOT a valid reason to use it. You should also never have the gain maxed either. Please stop making recommendations to people as you obviously have no clue what you are doing at all.

Those aren't exactly the loudest tweeters that I have heard, but I am surprised that signal only would break them and that they wouldn't have been "loud enough". I'd guess your amp was clipped as well. Can you measure it and find out?

What happens when you turn the HP off on the Daytons? Those enclosures might be enough of a crossover to prevent them from having issues anyways. If you do this, do listen closely to make sure they don't complain. To make this easier I would shut your sub off and listen to the mids alone.

Sure you can't fit a 3"? Going from the SLS to the RS-225 will cost you a lot of midbass potential.

What crossover are you using? Generically speaking I'd cross them at 4000hz and work my way down from there. It would be beneficial to know the rest of your drivers, your mounting locations, power, and so on as well. **My guess if you blew those they weren't crossed correctly as they will take a lot of power if you follow the rec'd frequency range

Pads and Rotors from Zeckhausen. The Axxis Deluxe stop the dusting problem and he should have some cheap rotors. It's a bm'er so they are ultra easy to slap on.

That makes NO SENSE. People it is VERY simple. When you eq you should always, always, always cut not boost.
