Either will be fine. I wouldn't expect the imprint to do anything useful, what you need in a 2way active headunit are crossovers in the range you want to cross, t/a, and some eq to take out the anomalies of your drivers in their install. Those two, the Pio 800prs (I know you don't want it) and the Clarion 9255 (which does 3way+) are pretty much your choices for new. Personally, I'd go play with them and buy the one that has the menu structure you like the best for what you are going to use it for.

The Icon logo is cooler than the Fi and if I had to choose between the two, I'd get the Icon.
I would definitely think about using something other than Norton's. I personally use Avast which is free, but there are probably a lot of options.
Depends on the application. As with all subs the box is ultra important discussing the driver without knowing your enclosure limitations doesn't make sense.
Not a spec that is meaningful. I'd get an amp that does at least 50w and if larger no problem, the gain knob will allow you to do what you need.
