Mercedes Benz Install - SoundSplinter - Second Skin - CDT Audio
The car is pretty bad azz. The owner has put a lot of money into it. I thought it was yours. If I could get one for $5k cheaper, I'd buy one. Those things have serious cahones.

once again i require advice :]
Most definitely. You really want to put in 6.5's. Really. Really. Why JVC? Personally, I am only interested in Pioneer, Alpine, or Eclipse but probably for different reasons that you can about.

/\ the ride height on that one is way better than Josh's as well. His is too high for me, that one is right on.

There are a bunch of cool bolt-on's for the SS.

x2 Aren't those 18's? The profile sure looks similar to Josh's although all the chrome, in particular on the double lip makes them look bigger. nope, 17's I really prefer the subdued look to the bright chrome, but it's really just personal preference I like flat black and aluminum. I don't need or want anything polished.

Went to Car Toys today....

Yes. Was fun, but not easy. A4, it was a 2001 I beleive. Can I fit an 8 in the door is the real question.

Hmm, Lambo V10 expensive to maintain??? Lol. I agree that my issue with the S4 was it was the least exciting car that I drove; however, it would also be the easiest to drive everyday all day. It is almost boring it is so civilized which of course nearly makes it Japanese. Having snow tires already in 17" which will fit with some cheap rims (thank VW for that) means my out of pocket on the car is nothing...outside of the stereo As for the price jump, considering what you get paying around $30k for a 2006 S4 doesn't actually seem all that out of whack to me. Do realize that the exchange rate from Euro to $ has gone from 1.17 to 1.55 or so in the not so distant past. Pretty amazing these cars are affordable at all. Of course the classic rule of sales is get as much as you can. Considering in Germany right now that both Benz and BM'er are using the Audi as a benchmark I am not surprised they are asking a bit more. I would like to see more grunt in the 4.2 though. SO TRUE. If I were you it would be the s4(considering you fit) after your dissapointing ride in the benz. I used to be in love with audi, especialy when I had my Jetta. I really think audi makes a great design in their cars. They are beautiful and stylish. You know what eff it all I'm gonna get a Ruff and then everyone can kiss my rear. I do still plan to have a second fun car, although it will be a year or two. I just need a daily driver. I wouldn't really call my ride in the Benz disappointing, just wasn't enough to have me throw $8k at it extra over 3 years (assuming nothing goes wrong as if something did it would be more).

Sweet, glad to see it on the road I won't deny there are a few things I'd change if it were mine though Let me guess: smaller rims no wing not a white interior -- although considering it is the original color from the car maybe not different tires no LED tail lights a little less shaved you guys were guessing about 450 hp in the 'bird right? I wouldn't be surprised if it hit high 11s if it could hook I'd put it in the 11's from seat of the pants. The 450 unlike most peoples guesses I actually think is conservative. I am not so sure about it hooking though, it likes to rotate them at about any speed but so does the E55 (well the electronic grandma kicks in a lot anyways). From a roll the thing is a beast. the wing, wheels, and tires are the only things that really bother me I could probably live with the wheel/tire combo if they were 17's but that wing....... yikes I'm sure the stiff suspension and short sidewall aren't helping it hook up at all The only positive about the wing is it is era appropriate and "original" technically not original since it's not a real TA and era appropriate and original are no excuses for fugly IIRC, in some magazine, they had a first gen 'bird with a wing from a early-mid 80's TA on it, and it surprisingly looked pretty damn good I was trying to be nice, I never said I like it. I think the whole ass of the car is fugly though.

Cool it. He's just asking for help. Are you gonna act like that when an old lady asks you to help her across the road? Act your age, I'm 17 and more mature that you. He has a very good argument, listen to him. bwahaha says the guy with a jensen headunit.. i cant dare take you seriously over the internet. Yeah stealth, I do have a Jensen HU, and I LOVE IT! I like being able to watch action packed movies on my SS components...they sound amazing! Yes I know that DVD players lack in sound quality and concentrate more on video quality, how does that mean that you should disrespect me? Because I enjoy not having a POS Kenwood HU? I realize that ehy arent the best out there, but am I going to be the best if I get whatever HU you have? No, I won't be, cause the HU doesn't make or break a sound system! do you even kow what dac or burr brown is. do you know why voltage output is important for decks. you do know that jensen has little to no EQ. jensen is for 17 year olds, oh wait you are 17. my bad should fit you perfectly. and im a pioneer man myself. So you have an 880/800?

Building a 2-way component set
Nope, you'd need a different one. In the Pio line it is pretty much the 800prs
