Don't do anything rash, it isn't like this has to be cleared up now. If you are having fun, have fun but use what you learned as a method of watching out for it in the future.

I'd try and clear up the brain portion Matt. A well thought out discussion will get you the answers that you need. Without the brain following the heart the road won't be nearly as much fun. Of course at your age, I actually like the follow your dick routine but I am a firm believer in not settling down too early. Hell you haven't even started a career which will change everything so it isn't like you know what the rest of your life will need in a woman yet anyways.

    who cares about Springsteen?

You said it well above, I just want what makes Matt happy.
  5. I really don't believe it is a funding problem, just an efficiency problem. The bigger our government gets the worse it gets at everything. First step is to cut the red tape.

How hard is it to tint windows and make it look good. I know a lot of my friends in high school tinted their windows and it looked like crap within weeks. I want to do it, but I don't want anything to look half assed on this car. I have only done it once. And something like that, which you want to last for a long time, have a tint shop do it. Worth the extra money IMO. xEleventybajillion Unless it is a perfectly flat window, then it is easy. Any sort of curve and you will spend more money doing it over than the shop would have cost to do it.

well... it comes down to a serious heart to heart, and you need to find out why it worked out the way it did. I don't really excuse lies of anykind or partial truths really, but if you think this girl may be "the one", then you need to figure out what drove her to not offering you the info. Then if you feel she was honest then and you can deal with that, go for it. The only thing is, even if you forgive it all and move on, it will ALWAYS be in the back of your mind. especially with assholes like me pointing it out again.

I posted /\ before reading your second note. Honesty is a big deal to me, it is one thing to not tell you everything but to intentionally mislead you another one altogether.

I don't mean to be that guy, but you said she lied to you. Without knowing the real history I shouldn't comment, but I'd be wary of things changing if that was truly the case.

As long as I can squeak away, it is.
  11. If you don't already have the amp, get something else that doesn't have dubious build quality.
  12. The Velocity amps, don't get any of the others including the one you picked. The Sundown is a good choice. Cerwin Vega EXL amps are nice for the budget, but I think they are sold out as well. Note only the EXL. The problem you have is your sub is not amp friendly meaning you are going to have to up the budget for your amp. When using a single sub, having a 2ohm final load makes amps way cheaper. At Sonic, this was the cheapest I could find, but it only does 225w and you probably want more especially if you upgrade your sub down the line: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12247_JBL+GTO3501.html And then you are into the Sundown price with http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12018_...e+MRP-M500.html For that I'd rather have the Sundown, way rather. If you want a cheaper amp, you need a different sub.
  13. wow that toshiba does a 5:5 pulldown, that's really cool with a blu-ray or any 1080p/24, 720p/24 or 480p/24 (film) source! Every 120hz lcd i'd seen up to now did a 6:4. good to see the framerate processing is coming along. nice find m5. I am reduced to LCD myself as I have a crap ton of windows, and being a hockey fan well I want framerate. They had the 52" version for $1999, I put it in my shopping cart and hit buy and they were sold out. Lasted less than a day.

Hate to point this out, but she already did once and I wouldn't expect her to change or that to be a fluke.

I really, really wanted to "meh" this post: but refrained since it seems I don't refrain much, at least according to people on this site
  21. Actually building a much stiffer, heavier baffle would be much better. Adding deadening and mass around it a HUGE bonus as well.
  22. ROFL. That amp is a SeRIoUs Joke

I got dirty with the W lol. I told her I would never mention again that she made me move east instead of west like I wanted to. It didn't work lol I shouldn't ever invite you over then, you'd both HATE it here

How about the non-scheduled? That is what I am worried about. The other shit I do myself, actually I like to do everything but I am not sure that is realistic if we no longer have an extra car. Nor with my travel schedule, but that is harder to admit.

Had a pair of Mark VIII's myself and loved them. Might not have actually bought the M5 if they would have had a T56 and non-air suspension stock. A bit more European feel would have sealed the deal. I look forward to the VIX.
