Have you driven a cayman yet? I know you are talled and the ones I have sat in I cannot fit into. I figured I couldn't fit, but will try someday.

Laying in bed at my bosses house waiting for the flight to japan tomorrow. I might not be so active over the next two weeks...
  7. Don't. You really don't want 4 sets of 5.25 comps in each door. No matter what amp you buy won't make that mess sound good.
  8. hell 63hz isn't subwoofer material
  9. I wouldn't buy a pre-made comp set if I were going to run active, no way, no how. It completely defeats the purpose. What's the budget?

Do explain, please I did above, didn't I? Were you just talking about something used? If it's new and you're not concerned about resale I'm not sure I follow. Buying new is stupid, thought that was implied. I am only concerned about buying price - selling price, or what I would call the real cost of the vehicle (maintenance excluded which everyone of course is concerned about). A few year old fully loaded vehicle ages very gracefully on your pocketbook, much better than a stripper. Ah, I understand now. Although to be honest, there aren't a lot of options that I particularly want to have, so their absence wouldn't be missed. I can do without the 8-way heated memory seats, down here Or maybe it's because I've gone the last 6 years in a vehicle that has absolutely no options, so my expectations aren't there Good luck selling a 10 year old vehicle with no options. There are two things buyers look for in a used vehicle, all sorts of goodies and something that is clean. The second part is up to you to uphold, but rather easy the first you have to buy upfront. Never said I was selling anything Not my point, I just meant if you buy something and then go to sell it later. The whole reason for buying fully loaded vehicles is they always stay desirable while strippers end up in the dump.

rofl Good luck and best wishes! Cool to be a business owner for sure.
  12. For a pair of 15" BTL's you should really have nearly 10cuft + port which I don't see fitting unless you completely remove the backseat or do a blow through. Neither options are trivial for someone who hasnt' built a box before.

  15. It sounds to me like you have some wiring issues. How and what did you connect where. Perhaps a picture would be worth a 1000 words here.

I was about to say I expect to see a cheating for sale thread from rjcastr, but then I realized his first post was one. Moved to topic under review area.

Beware of both back-end and front-end monies. In particular if you have had issues, I'd ask for closing documents at least 2 days ahead of time to read them in detail. You might see some shit that scares you.

GCSRT8 would be awesome. Really like the Enclave as well - do they tow up to 4500? 4500 indeed. If I get the Jeep though it means both of us with have Sport Ute's

  22. Curious as to where your gain knob is set to and how you chose to set it as well. Definitely don't need to bridge.

I love those, I don't fit in them and haven't tried since they came out but that seems really cheap. Not sure that they are ultra reliable, but considering the price it may not make a difference.

It also raises the resale. And you can usually find some dope who bought it new that doesn't realize that. Cheap purchase price, high selling price, minimizes your costs
