Or perhaps you've never owned a really nice car. Easy to not care until being spoiled.

G8? they aren't selling well so you could probably make a good deal with the dealership Amazing piece of shit on the inside. I went and looked at one and decided it wasn't even worth the drive. The GTO is world's nicer on the inside. really? I know a guy with one, and I think the interior is only barely behind the GTO's I think he got the upgraded interior package though The seats are plastic, the door cards are ridiculous, the dash looks like a mid-90's Chrysler. Close the door once and get ready to laugh. The fit and finish is laughable for a Holden as well. I had a really good experience in the GTO. Nice leather, things fit and had a Japanese/German quality feel to most of the inside. Sure there were some GM parts bin leftovers, but in general I was pretty impressed with the inside of that car. The G8 on the other hand I really feel is a good 10 years behind where it needs to be. Too bad too, since it is so nice on the outside. Hopefully the GXP will come out soon with AWD and real leather. btw, I asked about an upgraded interior and the dealer (probably an idiot) said there wasn't anything else available.

3 idq 10s vs 1 icon 15
I would run like hell from anything RD exclusively because of who and how they do business. It isn't nearly the sub that the Icon is either.

2 ohm components
I am curious as to your reason for wanting 2 ohm components as I can't think of a single good reason why.

It had no problems moving my Lincoln Mark VIII's around and they have similar weight. Managed to get between 26-28mpg on the highway as well.

Ran into that with a couple of friends from that hail storm we had earlier, bunch of bull chit is what it is. How about Progressive? I just switched to them from Farmer's and saved 400 per year. Farmers was pretty good, I only had one claim with them (when my stereo got stolen), and they did what every insurance company should do, I had no beefs. But 400 is a lot. It was weird seeing the breakdown of the where the premium comes from, though. With Farmers, about 280 was collision and comprehensive, whereas with Progressive it was only about 140 for those two. They were higher for bodily injury though. I am not a big fan of them either, although they are way better than Geico. Be careful to compare your coverage carefully, both are really keen on giving you less for less. Yeah I was wary of that as well. Everything stayed the same except bodily harm, which dropped from 100k/300k on my last insurance to 50k/150k on Progressive. But that's not a $200 difference in the premium, maybe $20. With only 150k I'd want a big umbrella...

And you drive a cadillac... I've driven a lot worse, and you can't beat the price I got it for. When the dealer was going to give them only three digits for it and it works just fine... And fixing it will be pretty much like a modern high end foreign car, even though it will probably break more often.

I am actually still thinking about it. I'd pay for some dumb bumper to bumper coverage if available then as well. Hmm...

100.2 dilemma
You can't use that crossover from PE it won't do you any good. You need a way of equalizing the level between the drivers, ie an L-pad, building one requires multiple components. You need a Low pass for the sub, inductors aren't cheap and you need more than that since 6dB of crossover won't cut it. You also need a high pass for the mids, while you could again try a single capacitor a 6dB slope won't cut it. Assuming you build at least a 2nd order crossover, again you are going to need another inductor. An amp will be cheaper, if you think differently go ahead but don't say you weren't warned. If you just buy some off the shelf crossover expect your system to sound really bad.

Zapco 9.0 vs Sundown 3000d
That was your settings, not the amp. What settings no eq was involved set the settings on both amps the same. They sound different its plain and simple. I shouldn't have shortened your original quotation You cannot hear an SQ difference was my point, I didn't mean to infer that they didn't have different sonic signatures but there surely is not a discernible difference in SQ between them. If there was it was your settings.

I personally prefer to buy from a camera company and not an electronics manufacturer. It is all in the lense, but as for which I'd have no idea at this point. Sony typically uses Zeis for the optics portion of the camera. I have a Sony Cybershot that works plenty fine. It even got tossed and landed on gravel concrete and still works good (save from some pictures coming out a lil blurry if your not steady) It is my understanding that it is some chinese or comparable lense with a zeiss name on it.
