alton sold his soul. I hope he made a bundle. I had a ton of respect for him. He was fairly careful in his wording, but alas money is the root of a lot of evils.

Apparently Alton himself worked with the engineers at GE to develop the oven. Dunno if thats really the case or not though All that means is the paid him to test it at some point.

I hate ceramic and electric coil cooktops for the sheer reason that they have such a long cool off period Heat control trumps all when picking a range top. Induction or Gas are the only choices, regrettably for me I have copper pans which means no induction.

Nice work for a first shot, I'd surely add another baffle though.

Personally I'd sell the lot and simplify the whole install.

I hate that style of range as well, no heat control. They must have paid Alton a lot to do this.

Just saw the steaks out of that beastie thing, yuck they look completely unbrowned on the outside which is a HUGE waste of flavor. Funny about the corners on the casserole too, any good convection system will insure that works just fine.

I have no interest in the "tri" portion of that oven. I'd also like to see a better convection system in it. The price point is sure nicer than everything I have been looking at, but unless they improve the normal functions I am not interested.
