I'm going to make one as soon as my garage is complete. Or just strip off the anodizing that is on it and hit it with a wire brush. Simple, fast, and cheap as all you have to buy is a can of oven cleaner.

If you port, 15hz or so is great for movies and will play music fine but if its focus is music you could tune higher for more output. Although I will add with that much juice on tap you probably won't be lacking in output.

Buy it from a real dealer and there are no issues, the either seem to have the problem (really rare) or don't. If you want alternatives, it would really, really help if you stated what features that you like off of it.

If you are just looking for single note output having the panels resonate should probably help although you probably would have to alter their mass or stiffness to really maximize your output.
