  1. One other thing you never mentioned and that is why you want to put tweeters in the A-pillars and which tweeters/mids you are using. Both rather critical pieces of information before undertaking a project like this.
  2. 2 ssd's will work and easily overpower the clif's

  5. I wasn't ripping on you, most of the country is confused. Bummer about the unplanned expense

1 or 4, depends on the color of your ride. <--forgot already

How can you keep a fridge "stocked" in college, do you refill it everyday? lol
  8. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Spending too much dough on other things to do the lift now though.

Cut down the kitchen cabinets tonight so that the new fridge will fit since it gets delivered tomorrow. Cleaned the garage up further while I was out there. Starting to look like someone lives here. I need to build one more set of cabinets and I will be set and ready for a lift.
  10. None need to be ported, just vent them into your fenders Mucho easier. I haven't heard the Legatia so I can't really comment on the best and what I would do isn't always the best for you perhaps. I am a big fan of the Fostex though...in particular if you have a limited tweeter on top.
  11. Nothing to do with safety and not necessarily recommended then. Why not is simple in that it isn't necessary.
  12. Not sure what Nissan is doing lately, but if it is firmly bonded I'd leave it there.
  13. Exactly why I will NEVER own a Honduh.

BTW if anyone wants a good laugh check out T-Mobile's coverage map for Texas. I noticed when I drove across it
  18. Those all really need tweeters other than the fostex, even then a super tweet or something with some high end would help. Since your budget is there, I'd really do the 3 way with the SLS...
  19. I wouldn't draw the analogy to a ported box, not even close
  20. On the upper end of the price range would be the Buwalda L3, but if you want to go the more budget friendly route I would look at: http://madisound.com/catalog/product_info....products_id=281 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=773 http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...roducts_id=1765 or the Tang w3's but they'd be my last choice in this list. If you went bigger and used more of your budget, I really like this driver http://www.madisound.com/catalog/product_i...products_id=780 If I had heard the Legatia's I'd comment more on those, but I haven't had the opportunity yet.
  21. If you don't go three way you cannot use the SLS. It pukes around 250hz and I have never seen a tweeter dig anywhere near that LOL. Lots of 3's available depending on your budget....and desires.

I finally have an "office" day
  23. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
I do that with several people I need to do it with more people.
  24. No bandpass on the x-overs, not something I'd use for an active setup without extra processing.
  25. Sealed is a way different story from ported.
