On the topic of acoustics, when I was at the Ryman theater, they said that it has like the 2nd best acoustics in the world, is this true? Never seen a list. The McKnight Ordway in MN is near the top as well though.l

It has nothing to do with where you ran the wires, nothing. I'd first check your grounds. I assume you pulled a fresh ground for the headunit and didn't use the stock crap. Also, check the connections elsewhere. Next is to remove the rca's from the amp and see if it is still there, if not, plug them back in and remove from headunit as you may also have a bad cable.

Honestly good quality solid state amps will have a negligible difference in SQ for the average consumer. Actually even for the above average consumer, in particular for in vehicle applications.

way, way better than just plopping in another set of components. The 6.5 in your doors should be able to play way lower, if not you should either replace them if necessary or fix the install so they can. In a well sealed door good output down to 50hz with some 6.5's is very possible.
