Mechanical and Thermal Video
I feel dumber for watching that. eD amazes me. Personally I like the apology in mid video. Perhaps an ounce of planning would have served them. Funny too that they use a TB driver, perhaps they are going to rip off that design like they did with their SQ10.

Equlaizer
First you should maximize what you have if you are after SQ. Step 1, turn off the bass boost. Step 2, deaden. And of course, tell us what aspect you'd like to improve. All you have said so far is bottom end, but considering you are using a bazooka tube with bass boost I am not surprised you aren't happy with it.

CarPC help
But if you are asking that question, I would suggest just buying a headunit.

If you can go digital why wouldn't you? Otherwise your proposal to go into the input via 1/8in stereo to RCA is fine.

Double 3/4" mdf?
<--double walls enclosures and regularly triple baffles Although my needs may be a bit different than yours.

I agree. Although heck, if there's ever a 200GB Ipod Touch out there, that would make a pretty good source even for home use. Kind of like a Squeezebox, except I can make calls with it too At some not super distant future there should be, the drive isn't holding them back anymore.

The Korean name would be preferred to some stupid American name. Phonetically of course.

You do only want one set of tweeters though...

Sounds deadning
Only two things that I am concerned with: 1) Lowering the "noise floor" of the vehicle itself 2) Improving the clarity and response of the drivers mounted in the door And indeed those are the two biggest ways to make your stereo sound better and your whole driving experience more enjoyable.

SHO = super high output Ford 3.0L bottom end, Yamaha designed top end. And Matt, drive an old fwd with completely different sized shafts hit the gas without your hands on the wheel and in the ditch you will go.

At least it was the first real equal shaft length fwd with minimal torque steer. Still even with the Quaife traction wasn't its forte and boo understeer.

Tell me what you could buy in 1994 for not that much dough that had four doors and could haul customers around that wasn't fwd. Even the E28 bm'ers weren't affordable then. The SHO's were great cars, albeit fwd which is retarded.

failed edit. I had a 1990 as well, but it was stock other than the airbox mod.

Okay, I now view you as a crazy man. This is just an absurd speed in that vehicle. Mine got floaty around 85. Of course I didn't have the suspension of the SHO or any of the aerodynamic stuff, but damn, that is just crazy. Not only that mine had nothing stock on it suspension wise anyways. I never held that speed, but it got there really quickly. What car was is again ? I googled Ford SHO v6 but didn't get anything clear.. The fast one I had was a 1992 Ford Taurus SHO, with a laundry list of mods including a supercharger.

I'd do the initial higher, closer to 350 in particular if your oil vat isn't really large since if you drop below 300 or so they will really soak up the oil.
