I found this interesting
And you need this in your car to improve what exactly??? Personally I think it is a joke.

few subs to compare
There is no better or more output definitively in the group, but they are definitely different. Considering your goals and past, I'd lean towards the Icon out of your list.

15"in Q or BL
Since you use the word hit, I'd guess you fit into the demographic of a BL buyer better. Now please use a musical term.

Welcome to the IHoP
Everybody has to go to Fargo before they die. uhh.... why? In particular you would like it. Fargo/Moorhead population 135,000 and 50,000 college students. Best bar specials pretty much in the country. Not a night you can't go out and get blasted for less than $5 in a bar.

We'll see - although I do like your idea. Anything I do will be kept real simple ... just because I really don't have the time for any projects right now. I'm still at work An easy 2 way front would work, large format tweet in the dash and a driver in the door or wherever they are easy.

I resemble that statement.

I agree completely, although I don't think in a vehicle that isn't driven hard it buys you anything to run synthetic. If you aren't breaking down your oil, no need to use oil that won't breakdown. From the perspective of a car that is driven 3k mi every 3 months, I'd rather change the oil and filter then anyways which further defeats the synthetic advantage. The M gets it the truck and the w's Audi don't.

Look in the owners manual. How many miles are on 'er? 112K hopefully they used synthetic because a switch to synthetic now may do more harm then good Are you kidding me? This is GM, you lucky if they didn't use mineral oil. If it were me, I'd switch to Castrol 5w30 and call it good.

Tell them to get on the net and do some research. If they wanted something that was cheaper to maintain, they never would have purchased a Volvo in the first place. Of course these vehicles are going to be more expensive than their American or Japanese counterparts. There aren't as many of them on the road. They should know this as it's just common sense. You will be surprised however, that the German cars, at least in my research, are not far off in maintenance costs. Of course I may just be used to paying higher prices for parts. You wouldn't think a Cobra is much different from a regular Mustang, but when you mention the Cobra part, you can automatically add a hundred for the parts. Indeed. A good point of reference on German car parts: alloembmwparts.com They really aren't that expensive, and actually regularly cheaper than their American and Japanese counterparts.

Deephaven, iirc 1200 miles. Driving through ND again wouldn't be fun. ND has got to be more interesting than KS, NE, and IA Actually less. Definitely less.

I haven't listened to the 300's stereo yet ... apparently it has the Boston Acoustics 6 speaker + subwoofer factory upgrade. If I can deal with it for the time being I'll keep it, but if not I'll grab some replacements. ( [2] pair 6x9's + 1 pair 3.5's) The easy solution, 6x9 TB subs, and a nice three way up front with 3's in the dash, 7's in the door and tweets in the pillars!

Welcome to the IHoP
Goodnight mang. I should really do the same. Tomorrow I catch the early plane to the WC. Amusing since the W brings her parents to the airport uber early, then I go, and tomorrow night she flies out. 3 trips from our household to the aeroflop tomorrow.

250 miles is only a bit more than 3 hours...of course in your car that is almost enough in gas to pay for the hotel More than enough for a spot to tent it. <-- loves to sleep in tents

Is there more than one city in MN? Basically 80% of the state lives in the Twin Cities and so do I. For all practical purposes it is Minneapolis although Tom is more specific.

Nice install. I love that you are measuring at 27Hz...and the fact you are only down 2dB.

Welcome to the IHoP
so would it be a bad idea to speed through that area? Just be really careful around Des Moines, the rest of the way you can boogie. **attempts to remember** Only "city" in Iowa you pass.
